    Will Advion Roach Bait Gel also kill crickets?

    Advion Roach Bait Gel will not kill crickets as it is only labeled for roaches. The most effective means of controlling crickets is by applying baits such as InTice or Niban.     Can Advion Roach Bait Gel hurt a very tiny puppy less than 1 pound? Please help
    My toy poodle is in the vet been there for 5 days. He weighs 1 pound could this have hurt him? The bug people put big globs everywhere. Please help, he is on iv and antibiotics but they cant find whats wrong. Could it have been this?

    What do I use to screw the top off the Advion gel bait tube?
    The tip is difficult to take off.

    We would recommend using a small pair of pliers if you are having difficulty getting the tip off of the Advion Roach Bait gel. It should just twist off and on once you get it off the first time. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Please help me out..
    I've lived in my apartment for 8 years and never seen a cockroach here until yesterday I found 1 dead cockroach next to my sliding door (that opens up to balcony). Not sure if this roach just got in from outside. Should I use this bait or just wait to see if I find more (really hoping not). I don't want to attract more roaches with this bait if it was just that one.

    Since you have only seen one and it was right inside the door, it is a strong possiblity that it did come in from outside. We would recommend to put up a barrier. You can use Phantom aerosol. Apply this product indoors and out along cracks, crevices and entry points.

    What is Advion Roach Bait Gel shelf life?
    A

    Advion Roach Bait Gel has a one year shelf life once the tube has actually been opened. If the tubes you have have not been opened, they should be good for up to 5 years from manufactured date. If the gel is hard, then it is likely it is out of date. If it has been kept in a room temperature room, it is fine.

    The ants are ignoring the Advion Roach Bait Gel traps, what can be done?

    Advion Roach Bait Gel is not labeled to eradicate ants. We do carry Advion Ant Bait Gel that will atrract the listed ants on the label that are currently attracted to a sweet-feeding bait. If they are foraging for a protein source, we highly recommend applying the Advance 375A granules in bait plate stations.

    Does Advion Roach Bait Gel have an expiration date? I wanted to buy 80 tubes, I have a very great plague on my property, if you can tell me as I check the expiration date.

    Advion Roach Bait Gel should be kept away from extreme temperatures and used within a year from date of purchase. It will be applied once every two weeks (cleaning up the old bait placements previously applied).

    Red Label vs. Blue Label
    I have never before purchased this product but heard amazing reviews about it. In my research, there is a harsh review claiming your product Advion Cockroach Gel Bait is ineffective since switching company's. It is a red label (old version) vs. blue label (new version). Can you tell me what the changes were to the product? Why would some claim the old version works and the new version doesn't. I really need a reliable product and have no money to waste on purchasing several products. Can you help with this question? My questions are in respect of your company. Thank you.

    Advion Roach Bait Gel was previously packaged in red by the previous manufacturer. The product was purchased by Syngenta and they began to package it in blue/green. The product is the same and has the same formulation and effectiveness. Nothing has changed to the product itself only the packaging material. Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Do all Advion Syngenta gel baits have the same ingredients regardless of the manufacturers?

    Sygenta is the only manufacturer that currently manufactures Advion Roach and Advion Ant Bait Gels. The were once manufacturerd by DuPont but they still contain the same formulation as they have previously.

    Should I remove old Advion bait gel before applying fresh gel? What is the best way to remove it?
    The old bit is at least six months old and is clearly not working anymore as I have roaches running around my kitchen and bathroom!

    Old Advion Roach Bait Gel can be removed by scraping it up and then warm soap and water on the surfaces for any left over.  It can take time to completely eliminate an infestation and fresh bait should be applied as needed and replaced when it starts to look black or too dusty/dirty.  Please take a moment to also read over our article here on how to eliminate them.

    Will my birds get sick if they eat the roaches that die from Advion Roach Bait Gel?
    I have a lot of birds (cockatiels). The room is infested with roaches.

    Advion Roach Bait gel should be safe to use around any pet as long as you keep the application out of reach of the pet. Since you are applying a gel and not a spray, there is nothing released into the air where sensitive animals such as birds could run into respiratory issues. That being said, you should always defer to your veterinarian's advice. We do not have any other written safety information other than the information available on the product label and the MSDS. We do not offer product guarantees, but these are the same products used by professionals, and if you use them as part of your roach control plan you will have the same results as a professional.     Should a whole tube of Advion be applied during every application?
    I just bought a tube and I applied very tiny dots of it around my kitchen and put a couple in my bathroom. Should I be using the whole tube when apply or can I cap it and save it for weekly applications of fresh bait? Thanks.

    Will the 4 pack Advion Roach bait kill Carpenter ants, or do I need something else?
    A

    Advion Roach bait will not kill Carpenter ants. Phantom would be a great product to use.  Pests can't even detect Phantom, so they walk right over it and then spread it to other insects hidden behind walls or in their home colony, killing every other pest they come in contact with. If you know where the ant nest is, then you can spray it directly. Be sure to keep the spray away from your bait. Spray low bait high.

    Can you put Advion Roach Gel Bait in the bait plate stations?

    Yes, Advion Roach Bait Gel can be used with the bait plate stations. You should remove the perforated tab so that roaches will still have access to the bait. For most roach bait applications, it is best to apply the bait directly into cracks and crevices to make it most available and attractive to roaches. There is a great video directly on the product page above with directions on how to apply roach baits.

    Advion Roach Bait Gel is only labeled to eradicate roaches. We do carry products that you can apply to treat silverfish.     Advion Roach Bait Gel how long before it starts working?

    Advion Roach Bait Gel will take at least a couple weeks to eradicate roaches. The transfer of the bait to the rest of the roaches is what takes time.
