No spraying! Just mix and pour.
What trees or plants can Bio Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control Concentrate be applied to?
Fruit and Nut trees including Citrus, Apple, Peach, Cherry, Plum and others as listed on the label.
Vegetables including Tomato, Pepper, Carrot, Melon, Cucumber, Herbs, and others as listed on label.
Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Grape and others as listed on label.
How many trees will one container of Bio Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control Concentrate treat?
One container treats 640 square feet of vegetables or up to nine fruit trees with a canopy width of 10 feet.
How is Bio Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control Concentrate applied to fruit and nut trees?
Measure the distance from the tree trunk to the drip line, and round down to the nearest foot.
Note: The drip line is the outer edge of the leaves. If you visualize an umbrella in the rain, the area where the rain falls to the ground would be the drip line.
Consult the tree rate chart on the label to determine the number of ounces of product to use for your specific tree type and radius measurement.
Add the specified amount of product to 1 gallon of water.
Pour the mixture at the base of the tree.
Fill the bucket with an additional gallon of water and pour at the base of the tree.
How is Bio Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control Concentrate applied to vegetables?
Measure the area of the vegetable row to be treated.
Note: A row that is 1 ft. X 10 ft. is 10 square feet.
Add 0.5 ounce of product per 10 square feet of vegetable row to be treated to 1 quart of water.
Spread the mixture evenly over the vegetable row to be treated.
When can treated edible crops be harvested?
See the label for plant specific restrictions for Pre-Harvest Interval.
If no Pre-Harvest Interval is listed, then Bio Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control Concentrate may be applied up to and including day of harvest.
Cured Scale Insect Problem on Key Lime Fast

I bought this because I heard that it was one of the very few treatments for scale insects. My Key Lime tree had not been bearing fruit and seemed stagnant as far as new growth is concerned. I discovered that the stems were covered with tiny brown scale insects. The leaves were tell-tale: they were covered with a shiny, wax-like coating which the insects secrete to protect themselves making them impervious to ordinary insecticides. The Bayer treatment is systemic, being drawn up through the roots and poisons these pests from the inside. In a matter of a few days the scale insects were dead and could be easily removed. This stuff is a miracle!

Great for the Control of Scale Insects on Citrus

Scale insects are among THE most difficult to control. They attach themselves to the stems and leaves of plants and secrete a shellac-like material that makes them largely impervious to sprayed-on treatments. I had a Kumquat and Key Lime tree that were infested. It was hard to tell the insects were there except for the tell-tale presence of the coating on some of the leaves; they were shiny, while others were naturally dull. The Bayer Insect Control is systemic meaning that you dilute it with water and feed it to the plant. Then it poisons the insects via the juice and sap they suck out of the plant. Within a week of treatment the scale insects were dead and could be flaked off the trees. FANTASTIC!

The citrus trees I purchased came with a tag saying it was treated with this type of treatment and recommended a follow up treatment after the expiration date as on the tag. It was recommended by the state of Florida. Only time will tell if it does it's job.

Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control is labeled for leaf hoppers however it is a systemic insecticide, therefore will not offer an immediate knockdown.
Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control is not labeled for apple maggots. You may want to consider Bonide Fruit Tree Spray instead.

No, Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control does not provide any fungus control. Bonide Citrus, Fruit and Nut Orchard Spray Concentrate would be a better option as it is labeled for fungus, insects and for use on pear trees.

Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control only controls insects. It will not affect disease at all. Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is labeled for apple rust and would be a better option.
No, Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control is not labeled for use as a foliar spray or on any type of container grown or hydroponic plants. It is only labeled for use as a root drench. One popular product that we sell for insect treatment on hydroponics is Evergreen Crop Protection EC 60-6.

Was wondering if this is an all in one system for citrus trees? Will I need to apply say...neem oil and spinosad like normal or does this product take the place of all of those?
Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control is a systemic product that can only be done once a year. If there is an issue that this product did not take care of, neem oil or spinosad is a good option for supplemental treating. This will only be used if there is a need for it.

We do not recommend using Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control on an olive tree since this plant is not listed on the product label. For a topical spray, you can use Fertilome Triple Action on olive trees up to day of harvest.

I have tried everything to get rid of white fly on my container vegetables (I think i may have purchased some tomatoes that had larva :( on them) I have used insecticidal soap, neem oil, seven spray, Malathion spray and have not been able to get rid of them. I am afraid of putting to much on and killing the plants - some of the plants did start to have curled leaves. they are producing fruit and the new leaves look very healthy - but i know that will not last if i don't get rid of them. Please help!!!!

Correct, Bio Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control is not labeled for beetles on fruit trees.
Sevin Concentrate would be recommended for a foliar spray application to control Japanese Beetles on fruit trees. For soil or ground treatments, Milky Spore Powder can be used to control Japanese Beetle larvae (white grubs) around fruit trees and vegetables.Review the Sevin product label and Mily Spore product label for more information.
