The B&G Matrix II Fly Light is a special order item and may take up to two weeks to be delivered.
The B&G Matrix II Four Seasons Fly Light is a flexible fly trap that can be configured year-round to handle heavy-duty to light-duty fly problems. When fly pressure is low, simply remove 1, 2 or even 3 of the UV bulbs to conserve power. Keep the bulbs as spares. You can even use just one bulb in more sensitive areas such as hospitals or nursing homes. When fly pressure is heavy, install all four bulbs for 100 watts of full UV power. You have the choice of operating with 25, 50, 75 or 100 watts of UV power, and your choice of glue board positioning: upper, lower or both. The B&G Matrix II fly trap comes with bulbs, 2 large glue boards (one behind the bulbs, and one below), and built-in hooks for hanging the trap from the ceiling as well as mounting holes on the back unit for mounting flush against walls.

Excellent product

I work in the office of a small shopping mall. The door to our office is almost directly behind a large trash compactor. During the Summer, flies and gnats were a constant problem. We installed the flylight in a central hallway outside our office and the improvement was immediate. The first glueboard filled up within days. We are still seeing a great improvement in the number of flying pests. This fly light is the real deal. The shipping and customer service from the website were also teriffic. I would definitely recommend this item for anyone needing relief from flies and gnats.

It Works!
By Scott on 11/12/2012
We have a large gourmet kitchen in our home and a huge problem with flies. We simply could not find where they were coming from. We tried every remedy, finally choosing this unit. Well it worked! In fact it's catching all the baby flies, ones we couldn't even see in the air. Yet at that, it has taken over a week to solve our problem. It does require patience. It is most effective at night when there are no competing light sources. For us the sight of hundreds of dead flies on sticky paper behind the bulbs was not repulsive, it was beautiful! ...if you know what I mean! The only negative was having to wait for delivery from the East Coast...called every restaurant supply in Seattle before reluctantly ordering on line, UPS Ground, six days. Still, it was worth the wait.

What attracts the flies to the unlit side?
The glueboards are positioned in the back of the Matrix II Four Seasons Fly Light. The lights in the unit are what attracts the flying insects. Be sure to place the fly light away from competing light sources.
I have a horse barn and would like to use it in the barn
Flylights such as the B&G Matrix II Four Seasons Fly Light are designed to be used inside where light sources can be limited and would not be recommended outside. Results would be limited due to the outside competing light but in a barn if doors/windows can be closed it could work. You could use a Dynatrap Indoor/Outdoor Insect Trap indoors or outdoors.
