Bifen IT should NOT be applied to livestock. We do carry other products that can be applied for insect control safely on livestock including Hi-Yield Lawn, Garden, Pet and Livestock Insect Control.
Bifen IT will kill Cicada Killers. We also recommend to apply Delta dust in the holes in soil.
Bifen IT is labeled to treat for insects in Poultry Houses. Be sure to review the product label prior to treatment. You must make sure your chickens are out of the area while you apply Bifen and then they can return to the area as soon as it is dry.
Yes, you can mix Bifen IT and Amine 2,4-d can be mixed in the same tank and sprayed. It is recommended that you do a small tank mixture to ensure there is no clumping between the two products. The effectiveness of the products should not be affected if you mix the two together.

Bifen IT can be re-applied every 30 days. It is not recommended to use Bifen IT and Bifen Granules together in the same place. It would only be doubling up the amount of product in the area and that will cause the insects to become immune more quickly.
Bifen IT may kill bed bugs that contact the treated area. Keep in mind we would not recommend this product for Bed bug control as certain strains are resistant to the active ingredient. The decision to add pasture applications where livestock will be present (or not) to the Bifen IT product label was made by the manufacturer of the product. We are the retail distributor and have no part in the testing.
Bifen IT cannot ben used on areas what will be used for grazing by animals. Please contact your local extention office to determine how to best treat the pest you are treating.
Bifen IT and Pivot 10 IGR should NOT be applied in a thermal or ULV fogger. It should be dispersed in a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose end sprayer or mist blower. We do carry thermal fogging concentrates that would be fine to apply.
Per the product label, you are to "Take off contaminated clothing, rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes, and if needed be contact a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice."
We do not see any reason why you can't spray Bifen IT and Hi-Yield Atrazine together. For more information on application and dilution, please refer to the product labels of each product.
Yes, Bifen IT can be applied to lawns for control of armyworms. You will apply 0.18-0.25 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft. Please refer to the product label for full mixing and application instructions for treating armyworms (Pages 14-15).
When using Bifen IT to treat for soil dwelling pests such as sob webworms, the rate is not per gallon of water but per 1000 sq ft as you would use sufficient water to cover the target area and get the product to the pest. Per the product label: To accomplish uniform control when applying to dense grass foliage, use volumes of up to 10 gallons per 1000 square feet. You would use 0.18 - 0.25 fluid oz. per 1000 sq. ft for sod webworms. Higher treatment rates (up to 1 fluid oz. per 1000 square feet) may be necessary if high pest pressure exists and if the grass is maintained taller than 1 inch.
In general 1 gallon can cover 1000 sqft but for sod webworms the amount of water needed could be higher depending on the grass foliage, equipment used, how fast you walk, etc.
Bifen IT will kill honey bees if they come in contact with the treated area and/or are sprayed directly. It is recommended that you spray in the areas you are wanting to treat when the bees are not actively foraging. A better option would be to use Mavrik Perimeter. There is no lingering odor or visible residue, and when dry, it is non toxic and non repellent to honey bees.
They should not be present during application or while it is wet. You should only apply Bifen IT to the listed areas on the product label per page 13.
Bifen IT cannot be applied to hay intended to be consumed by animals. We would recommend to use Evergreen Pyrethrum. Be sure to wait a week or two after application to harvest.
Bifen IT will kill wasps that it comes in contact with. The mixing ratio is 1 fl oz per gallon of water.
Bifen IT is labeled for bedbugs but according to the product label it should not be the only product that you use for bedbug control.
