Not for fleas!

I bought this to correct the flea problem in my basement but it hasn't touched them. After multiple applications, i still have the same problem. I went back to Ultracide and it's fine now.

For fleas, you should use both an adulticide and an Insect Growth Regulator, or IGR. Ultracide contains both of these, so it is a great choice for treating fleas indoors. Bifen IT is only labeled as a crack and crevice spray for indoor treatments, so it would not be an appropriate adulticide for indoor flea treatments.

I am very disappointed in this product due to the fact that it did not rid my infestation of Springtails. I used it around the perimeter of my house and still am finding Springtails in my basement.

Springtails are a very difficult pest to treat because they multiply quickly and are often found in very large numbers. While the Bifen IT will kill springtails that come into contact with the direct spray or dried residual, the key to fighting springtails is to alter the environment to eliminate the breeding site and food source. This usually only happens when a moisture buildup issue is corrected. We are happy to discuss possible solutions over the phone, although there is generally not a quick way to eliminate springtails or to fix the environmental conditions that favor them.

While Bifen IT is a great product and does indeed work very well, roach control will require more than an insecticide spray because of the way roaches nest. You should also note, even if you spray Bifen right on a roach it does not offer an immediate knockdown or kill. It will take several hours for insects to die after coming into to contact with treated areas. Highly toxic to bees

Safe for mammals but highly toxic to bees. I saw the reviews and was relieved to find it was mostly safe for humans and dogs, but it's highly toxic for bees.

Bifen has not changed in formulation but insects can develop resistance if they are exposed to it continuously over several years. It is recommended to rotate to a different insecticide every few years to prevent this, products such as Temprid FX or Demand CS are great to use.

We are sorry your experience with Bifen was not as expected. Bifen is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be effected by the product though and you will still see some in the area. You can apply Bifen every 7 days if using the lower dose during heavy pest pressure if needed. For mosquitoes key is to apply to the underside of leaves on trees/bushes which is where the adults lay during the day, as well as shady areas. You would not treat entire areas of the lawn that are in full sun as it is not habitable for them there.
