SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING
For Fleas and Ticks: A light, even coverage of the hair coat will provide effective flea control. Do not allow spray from application or damp cat/kitten to come into contact with painted or finished surfaces, including wood floors/furniture, leather/vinyl materials, or other surfaces of concern.
Recommended dosage: Note that the recommended dose is about 4 squeezes of the trigger sprayer per pound of body weight. Short-haired cats/kittens will need less; more spray may be needed for long-haired cats/kittens. In all cases, apply spray until the coat is damp, not saturated.
For Mosquitoes: A light, even coverage of the hair coat (as applied for flea control), will also provide effective repellency of mosquitoes. This product is most effective when used a part of a total flea and tick management program. Use other Bio Spot Active Care products registered for residential premise control of these pests in conjunction with this treatment. Monthly premise treatments are required for optimal control and prevention of fleas and ticks.
The successive feeding activity of fleas on pets may elicit a hypersensitivity skin disorder known as flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). Treatment of cats/kittens with Bio Spot Active Care Flea & Tick Spray for Cats & Kittens kills fleas and may reduce the incidence of this condition.

I want something with no residual but I want an IGR too. Petcor or this? This can only be used monthly. I think Petcor allows for weekly retreating. I have two cats.
The Etofenprox residual in the Bio Spot Active Care Flea and Tick Spray for Cats and Kittens lasts only slightly longer than the active insecticides in the Petcor Flea Spray. The IGR in the Petcor Flea Spray lasts approximately 30 days, and approximately 2.5 months for the Bio Spot. The Petcor Flea Spray can be reapplied weekly, whereas the Bio Spot can be reapplied no sooner than 30 days from the last application. When treating cats, the Bio Spot would be a better product to use. The active ingredient is specifically for cats. The active ingredients in the Petcor, while are safe for cats, can sometimes cause reactions like foaming or excessive drooling in some cats.
