To apply as a Stump Treatment: Apply this product undiluted to kill stumps and prevent sprouting. Using the applicator top, completely cover the freshly cut surface.
To use for Vine Control: For best results when treating vines such as poison oak, poison ivy, etc. that grow on or around desirable plants, cut the vine first and treat as directed above for stump treatment. Do not let product contact desirable plants.
To apply as a Foliar Spray: In a hose-end or tank sprayer, mix 8 to 16 tablespoons (4 to 8 fl. oz.) in enough water to make one gallon of spray mixture. Apply at the rate of one gallon spray mixture per 500 sq. ft. Coverage will depend on the amount of foliage to be treated. Apply as a thorough foliage spray to wet all leaves using a coarse spray pattern with low pressure.

I bought this product to kill back this trump tree/vine off of my house. My inconsiderate neighbor planted this trumpet vine on his property years ago, now it looks more like a tree and had grown over the property line onto the roof and windows of my home. He does not maintain it. I had to climb a ladder and spray the vine that was on my side of the property line and it has killed it back. It did not kill the entire vine, but killed it back off of my house. Oh, I used one of those pumping type sprayer with the nozzle like people use to spray for insects.

The trees are down but the roots still are shooting up sprouts. Need to kill the roots. The trees were poplar and the roots are growing under my asphalt driveway.
Yes. The Bonide Stump Out Stump & Vine Killer will kill the stump and the roots. You want to cut the suckers sprouts off, and make hatchet marks deep enought to hit the cambium cell layer of the tree. This layer is the growing part of the tree, and it will absorb the chemical to kill down to the roots.

I have a bunch of Burning Bush that I am removing due to their tendency to be invasive. I will be applying Stump out on all of the stumps. I want to replace the Burning Bush immediately with a noninvasive native shrub, such as viburnum or witch hazel. If I plant them between the treated stumps, will their roots be vulnerable?
Bonide Stump Out Stump & Vine Killer will not have any effect on a new bush planted next to a treated stump as long as the treatment was done directly on the freshly cut stump.
