BT NOW Biological Insecticide is a water-based biological insecticide that uses a novel strain of bacteria to target and control caterpillars, moths, and worms on different crops. It makes use of Bacillus thuringiensis sp. kurstaki (Kurstakia) (Btk). When swallowed by the target insect, it can paralyze the digestive system. Then, within 2-5 days, cause it to die. It can be used on different pest control management programs. The product is excellent for ornamentals, flower beds, greenhouses, nurseries, fruits, nuts, and vegetables. It leaves no harmful residue and does not disrupt beneficial insect populations. Available in a single-gallon container.

Harmful if absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
For terrestrial uses: Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high-water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate. This product must not be applied aerially within one-fourth mile of any habitats of threatened or endangered Lepidoptera. No manual applications can be made within 300 feet of any threatened or endangered Lepidoptera.

Is this mixed, label does not specify other than pint /acre, I want to use hand held sprayers or hose end sprays to protect trees only I am somewhat confused by the pint/acre as my target are tree
BT NOW Biological Insecticide is mixed with water to be applied. The amounts of water used will vary depending on the target application site and can be found on the label. This product is designed for larger areas and does not give rates smaller than per acre in large amounts of water.
