    Q
Is it better to put the Catchmaster Mouse/Insect Glue Boards 72MB out flat or in a box shape?
    A

You did not indicate what pest you are trying to capture with the glue boards but to help stop the Catchmaster Mouse/Insect Glue Boards 72MB from getting too dusty you can fold it up into a box shape for longer life.  It really varies on the target pest and area placed in.

    Q
I have mice coming inside. What is the best method for getting rid of them?
I hate mice and they are coming in already. They live in the walls and I have dogs that also catch them. I do not like picking them up! I need to do something. They are filthy things. I have all my food protected but they are eating candles in my dining room cabinet and other really odd stuff. When I see what they eat I secure that too! I do not want to see and dispose of them! Please help me find the best way to "kill" them and dispose with minimal seeing and any contact! If my dog catches one I have to "woman up" and sweep it into a dust pan and throw it away. I really don't want to move but I heard for every mouse there is 10 more!
    A

We always recommend using snap traps or glueboards indoors if the rodents have already made their way inside. The Trapper Hidden Kill Mouse Trap is designed to provide a discreet and effective option for trapping and killing mice. It features a no mess, capture and kill mechanism that kills mice quickly. The Hidden Kill trap keeps the captured mouse hidden inside, unlike your average wooden traps that display the mouse for all to see.  We would also recommend using baits in tamper resistant bait stations outdoors to prevent rodents from taking up resident inside the structure. We have a great guide here for How to Get Rid of Mice and How to Keep Mice Away.

    Q
Do you have a product that gets rid of Bufo Toads?
    A

There are no toxic products labeled for frogs or toads (or reptiles for that matter), and given the highly beneficial nature of these amphibians there is not likely to be anything coming along. The reasons they are on your property are because they can find food and proper habitat, and these are probably your only means for making them go away. Take away their food and they will forage somewhere else. Take away the conditions they need for hiding all day and they will seek refuge someplace else.

Habitat modification may be the more effective way to limit frogs on your property. Frogs are mainly nocturnal, and they seek food at night when it is cooler and damper. During the day they look for cool, damp, dark places to hide. They will hide under dense shrubbery or ground covers, under logs or lumber on the soil, or under large landscape rocks and timbers to avoid the hot, dry sun. Trim shrubbery, remove thick ground-cover, stack lumber or firewood off of the soil a few inches and remove any other objects or debris that come in contact with the soil and can provide harborage. Limit watering to help eliminate moisture from your yard. You can also reduce the amount of insects (the frogs food source) in your yard by treating the grass with a residual insecticide such as Talstar PL.

    Q
Will the bait on Catchmaster Mouse/Insect Glue Boards hurt my dog?
My dog ate the little pellets on the glue trap. Will this hurt her?
    A

We apologize, but we are not sure what kind of pellets are you referring to.  The Catchmaster Mouse/Insect Glue Boards only contain adhesive glue. Your dog would have to eat huge quantities of the actual glue for there to be any risk of poisoning. As with any non-food item your dog consumes, you should monitor him to be sure everything he ingested passes through his system. If you suspect that the glueboard has not passed within a reasonable amount of time or your pet stops eating, you should contact your vet.

    Q
Can I use Catchmaster mouse glueboards outdoors?
I want to put catchmaster glueboards around my house to help catch mice.
    A

We would not recommend using Catchmaster Glueboards outdoors because the adhesive would melt due to the heat. Please see our full mouse program guide to learn how to control the mouse population on your property: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/mouse-identification-guide-a-519.html
