Yes, CB 80 is labeled for use in automobiles for flushing and contact kill of pests that may be within it. Keep sprays directed to hiding areas like crevices along edges of doors and where the carpet meets the edges of the floor, under seats and along sliding areas of car seats. Never spray into air vents and allow car to dry and air out completely before driving.
CB-80 Aerosol - 17 oz. can will kill bees that contact the freshly treated area. For bees in walls, we recommend to use Tempo 1% dust. Keep in mind that you should first contact a local beekeeper if you have honey bees in your home so that the bees can be safely removed, if at all possible. It is very important that all nest materials, honey, etc. be completely removed to avoid secondary problems such as insect or mold issues or re-infestation.
Yes, CB 80 Aerosol is safe to be used around pets. Keep all pets out of the area during treatment. Once the product has had time to dry, it is safe to have the animals re-enter.
CB-80 Aerosol should only be applied to cracks and crevices.
CB-80 Aerosol is not specifically labeled for scorpions. Scorpion Control Kit will work great for scorpions. Please take a few moments to review our How to Get Rid of Scorpions for a successful eradication program.
CB-80 Aerosol - 17 oz. can will only kill those flies that you are spray directly. It would not be used to fog an outside area in any way.
CB-80 Aerosol should NOT be applied directly to animals (including poultry). It is labeled for applications to cracks and crevices including poultry houses as directed. We recommend Martins 10%. When using this product on poultry for Mange Mites, flies, blowflies, mosquitoes, hog lice, fleas or ticks, you mix 8 oz of product in 25 gallons of water. When treating poultry for Poultry Mites, Northern Fowl Mites or Lice, you use 8 oz of product in 12.5 gallons of water applying only 1/2 oz per bird.
CB-80 Aerosol can applied around tufts and seams. Take beds apart and spray into all joints. You should also spray baseboards, moldings and floors. CB-80 will offer a contact kill to crevices. We suggest also applying the products in one of our Bedbug Kits. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article/videos on How to Get Rid of Bedbugs for a successful eradication program.
You can use CB-80 on furniture in areas that you will not be coming into direct contact with later. For instance, it would be okay to spray the underside, under cushions and interior seams and fabric folds. Spray a small inconspicuous area to test for staining. It can be used directly on carpets ONLY if you are treating for carpet beetles per the label instructions.
CB-80 Aerosol will definitely work if they're sprayed enough, it is possible that the stink bugs you sprayed fell to their death within minutes of being sprayed. It doesn't kill lthem the instant they're "touched" by the product but within minutes it paralyzes them. Suspend Polyzone is a great product, you can continue to use that to maintain a good residual control around the perimeter of your home as well as around the window frames and door frames. Another product you can rotate with is Temprid SC, you can also find it in our Overwintering Kit.
CB-80 Aerosol should not stain any surface its applied to, however we nor the manufacturer can test for all surface applications. We would recommend testing in a small inconspicuous area first before treating in a wider area where you have the pests emerging. Unless you are spot treating only behind the siding, we would recommend using a concentrated product you mix with water and spray in that area instead since aerosols are not going to hold up to the outdoor elements as well and are used more for spot treatments to flush insects out as a contact kill. Cyzmic CS would be a great option for residual insect control outdoors.
CB-80 Aerosol - 17 oz. can does include a crack and crevice straw.
While the label does state CB-80 Aerosol is highly toxic to bees, it is not specifically labeled to control them. We suggest using the products in our carpenter bee control kit.
Insects would have to come in direct contact with CB-80 in order for them to die.
If you go with the CB-80 Aerosol, I'd suggest using bait in cabinets or places you can't or wouldn't want to spray to help offer control where the pockets seem to be hiding. Spray CB-80 into hiding places such as cracks and crevices, behind sinks, cabinets, along baseboards and floors, around drains and plumbing, hitting insects with spray whenever possible. Keep the area closed for 15 minutes. Open and ventilate before reoccupying. Repeat treatment as necessary. CB-80 is a contact-kill aerosol that has a slightly repellent nature. This product will only kill on contact and is not meant to be used as a repellent. Most aerosol insecticides are not meant to be used as repellents but rather as knockdown agents to kill the insects.
When making an application with any insecticide, including CB-80 Aerosol, your PPE should be socks, shoes, pants, long sleeve shirt, chemical resistant gloves and a mask if needed, something comparable to an N95.
CB-80 Aerosol is a contact kill only aerosol and labeled for a variety of pests but does not leave a residual. The best treatment for the exterior perimeter of the home would be use a residual insecticide spray along with a dust to treat inside weep holes, behind gaps in siding, etc.
Using Suspend Polyzone to treat the exterior perimeter foundation to include along edges/corners of siding, around windows, doors, where utilities enter the home and under soffits.
Delta Dust Insecticide is recommended to be applied using a Bellow Hand Duster to directly treat in gaps, voids, joints, etc where insects can enter the home as well as inside wall voids where insects are believe to be located. Both of the products can also be used indoors for an indoor/outdoor pest control treatment.
CB-80 Aerosol can be used for fleas indoors and will only provide a contact kill to fleas that are sprayed directly. This product can be applied to pet sleeping quarters, bedding, floor and floor covering where pets are kept. Do not oversaturate or soak areas, apply till slightly damp and repeat as necessary.
Fleas require repeat applications to eliminate them and also require a combination of an insecticide to kill fleas and an IGR to stop the growth cycle of juvenile fleas. Our Indoor Flea Kit would be the best all around treatment for fleas indoors and will provide enough product to do the recommended repeat applications.
