Celsius WG Herbicide is labeled for post-emergent applications for the eradication of field sandburs/sticker burs and is safe for St. Augustine grass. We recommend also making sure there is an adequate amount of water being applied to your turf as sometimes lack of water can cause sticker bur.
Please make sure to follow the product label for application.
Yes, spot applications would be included in the max per year per 1000 sqft rate for Celsius WG Herbicide.
Soil penetrants contain surfactants but would not replace a true surfactant that is commonly recommended on herbicide product labels. Celsius WG Herbicide should be mixed with a non ionic surfactant for best results and harder to kill weeds therefore you would want to do 2 separate applications. Apply the Soil Penetrant first, then apply Celsius WG with the non ionic surfactant as directed per the product label.
View the Celsus WG product label for more information.
Unfortunately, Celcius WG Herbicide should NOT be used on Bahiagrass or any other cool season turf grasses so we would not be able to recommend a reseeding time frame.
Unfortunately, most post emergent herbicides that target grassy weeds are not safe for use on bahia and would need to be spot treated directly with a non selective glyphosate product like Roundup QuickPRO. Any bare spots can be reseeded after 2 weeks.
For broadleaf weed control in bahiagrass, Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone would target many common broadleaf weeds and safe for bahiagrass.
View the Weed Free Zone product label for more information.
Celsius WG Herbicide is only labeled to be used in warm season turfgrasses, it is not safe for ornamental plantings.

Please review the product label for weeds controlled and application rates.
The application rate for Celsius WG Herbicide will depend on the specific weeds you are targeting and how many square feet the 30 galllon tank will adequately cover. The manufacturer states to use 10 to 60 gallons of water per acre.
Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

To see if you can mix Celsius WG and Manor together you need to test prior to mixing in the tank. Please follow these instructions on the label of the Celsius WG. Compatibility If this product is to be tank-mixed with other products, compatibility should be tested prior to mixing. To test for compatibility, use a small container and mix a small amount (0.5 to 1 qt) of spray, combining all ingredients in the same ratio as the anticipated use. If any indications of physical incompatibility develop (precipitation, settling, changes in color), do not use this mixture for spraying. Indications of incompatibility may occur within 5-15 minutes after mixing. Read and follow the label of each tank mix product used for precautionary statements, directions for use, geographic and other restrictions.
Thank You,
Yes, Celsius WG Herbicide is labeled for the listed weeds in established warms season turf such as Bermuda and Centipede as directed.
Celsius WG Herbicide is not specifically labeled for basketweed. We would recommend spot treating with a non selective such as Roundup QuikPRO & then reseed/resod the lawn 2 weeks after application.
No, Celsius WG Herbicide is not safe for cool season turf such as fescue. It is only labeled for use on warm-season turf (St. Augustine, Centipede, Bermuda, and Zoysia). If you would like to tell us the weeds that you are targeting, then we would be happy to recommend a product that would be safe to use on your Fescue turf.
In general, it is fine to mix a pre-emergent herbicide like Prodiamine 65 WDG and a post-emergent herbicide as long as neither product label prohibits this mixture. Be sure you use the correct rates for each product. We also recommend a small jar test for compatibility before mixing a larger tank. You also will need to activate the Prodiamine with irrigation or rainfall after at least 24 hours but within 14 days of the application, per the product label.

No, Celsius WG Herbicide is not safe to be used on Kentucky Bluegrass, it for use on warm season grasses only. You may want to consider something like Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide instead. Pre-emergents are applied in spring and fall dependingo n your area. You may consider signing up for our turf box, as it would send you pre-emergents when needed & for your lawn size to prevent some of the weeds from growing. Then in late spring/summer you can use a post-emergent to kill off the weeds that did germinate.
Monkey grass is kind of hard to kill once established but caution should still be taken. Unfortunately, Celsius WG Herbicide is not labeled to be safe nor to harm monkey grass and it is labeled to kill some perennial grasses. If you have it on hand, we recommend testing it in a small inconspicuous area. Please read the product label for complete application instructions.
Yes, you can mix a pre-emergent like Dimension 2EW with Celsius WG Herbicide if the timing is correct. We would recommend to do a tank mix test first to ensure the chemicals are compatible while in mixture. To treat for dallisgrass using Celsius you need to use in combination with REVOLVER Herbicide which is not for use by homeowners.
Unfortunately, there are not any selective post-emergent herbicides for use on dallisgrass in residential lawns. We recommend spot treating with a non-selective herbicide such as RoundUp QuikPro and then overseed any bare spots as needed. We recommend using a pre-emergent containing dithiopyr like Dimension in late winter/early spring to help prevent new dallisgrass. Dallisgrass Prevention Guide.Yes, Celsius Herbicide is labeled to target Florida Betony and can safely be applied to centipede grass as long as you follow the instructions on the product label.
