Pyrocide 100 (1% Pyrethrum Fogging Concentrate) can be used in the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger for a knockdown/cleanout roach treatment.
Please view the Undiluted and Diluted instructions on page 3 of the Pyrocide 100 product label for more information.
Following a fogging application for cleanout, we would recommend treating with one of our Roach Control Kits for an aggressive treatment approach to eliminate roaches. Repeat applications are required every 14 days. If after 90 days you are still seeing roach activity, you will want to rotate to another Roach Kit to offer a different roach bait with different bait matrix.
View our Roach Treatment Guide for more information.
Stryker 100 is labeled to be used in conventional fogging equipment such as ULV Foggers like the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger or thermal foggers. Per the product label, when using ULV equipment, apply at the rate of 4 fl oz/ acre. Allow spray drift to penetrate dense foliage.
Stryker 100 has been discontinued by the manufacturer. ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate would be an alternative recommendation.
Most fog machines consist of a heat element to heat up the oil based fogging product to create a "fog". The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger shoots out a cold ultra low volume spray and it does not contain a heating element. This product would likely perform very poorly for this use and would likely end up drenching people in product. We would advise using a fog machine specifically for your use/product.
You could potentially use a fogging solution inside the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger to kill flying insects such as hornets and wasps in your barn. ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate has hornets and yellowjackets on the label. Keep in mind that fogging solutions are unlikely to provide instant knockdown on larger insects like wasps, however. We advised wearing protective clothing and leaving the area as soon as possible after treatment. If you can get within about 15-20 feet of a nest, then you will get a much faster knockdown using a ready-to-use product such as PT Wasp Freeze Aerosol. Animals and food or feed should not be present or exposed when these products are applied.
You can view some instructions for the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger here. Be sure that the intake filter on the back of the unit is clean and has the soft covering over it to protect it. Also, be sure that you are only using products labeled for use in a ULV fogging machine. If you need assistance troubleshooting your machine, then you can reach Createch directly at 850-421-6002.
While the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger can be used for fogging insecticides indoors for listed insects, there is not a termiticide labeled for this type of application nor would this be effective. Tenting is a specific treatment that is done by professionals only and cannot be even closely duplicated by a homeowner.
For Drywood Termites, you would need to directly treat the wood they are infesting.BoraCare would be the best and long term treatment to the wood the termite colony has infested.
View our Drywood Termite Treatment Guide for more information.
For Subterranean Termites where termite colonies are located in the soil under or around the home, the most effective treatment is by trenching around the exterior perimeter foundation with Taurus SC. Taurus SC, when applied as a trench treatment will eradicate a termite colony wiithin 90 days and will provide a 10 year barrier protection against Subterranean Termites.
View our Subterranean Termite Treatment Guide for step by step instructions and more information.
Termidor Foam can be used to directly treat active termite colonies ISubterranean or Drywood) in wall voids, around windows, doors, behind cabinets, etc.Termidor Foam will not eradicate an entire Subterranean Termite Colony but will treat that area of activity.
Fogging would not be the best method to treat for ants that are foraging inside of the structure. Fogging will only kill insects that are present during the application without a continued kill. Treatment with baits in and around the property (trailing sites etc) and applying a residual product that will continue to be effective would be best for this colonized insect so that you will be able to target more than the amount of pests noticed. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Ants for a successful program.

If you were applying a fogging solution for a vehicle, you would need to open the doors (and trunk, if needed) and hold the machine so as to direct the spray to the surfaces you are treating. Be sure you are wearing the appropriate safety equipment required by the product label of the chemical you are using.

This will prolong the life of your Commander Tri-Jet Fogger. Always clean and dry the intake filter after each use. When the unit is clean and dry, place back into the box to protect from damage when not in use. If you have more specific questions about the motor, please contact the manufacturer at 850-421-6002.
The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger could be used to fog lawns but needs to be plugged in to work. A better option for a yard would be something portable like the VectorFog C100 Plus.
Commander Tri-Jet Fogger can be used as long as the products being used are labeled to be used in a ULV fogger. Our rule of thumb with any product is to keep children and pets out of the treatd area until dried.
