    Q
Could the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger be used with fogging concentrate to fog the top of my barn for hornets and wasps? What fogging concentrate is recommended?
    A

You could potentially use a fogging solution inside the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger to kill flying insects such as hornets and wasps in your barn. ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate has hornets and yellowjackets on the label. Keep in mind that fogging solutions are unlikely to provide instant knockdown on larger insects like wasps, however. We advised wearing protective clothing and leaving the area as soon as possible after treatment. If you can get within about 15-20 feet of a nest, then you will get a much faster knockdown using a ready-to-use product such as PT Wasp Freeze Aerosol. Animals and food or feed should not be present or exposed when these products are applied.

    Q
Can I use a liquid nitrogen in the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger as a stage fog machine?
    A

Most fog machines consist of a heat element to heat up the oil based fogging product to create a "fog". The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger shoots out a cold ultra low volume spray and it does not contain a heating element. This product would likely perform very poorly for this use and would likely end up drenching people in product. We would advise using a fog machine specifically for your use/product.

    Q
Can Stryker 100 be used in the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger?
Looking for something that can be family and pet friendly once dry.
    A

Stryker 100 is labeled to be used in conventional fogging equipment such as ULV Foggers like the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger or thermal foggers. Per the product label, when using ULV equipment, apply at the rate of 4 fl oz/ acre. Allow spray drift to penetrate dense foliage.

Stryker 100 has been discontinued by the manufacturer. ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate would be an alternative recommendation.

    Q
Can you give directions on how to fog the inside of a vehicle using the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger?
The fogger lists use in vehicles.
    A

The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger is a piece of equipment in which you can use a variety of chemicals, as long as those chemicals are labeled for use in a ULV fogger. If you were applying a fogging solution for a vehicle, you would need to open the doors (and trunk, if needed) and hold the machine so as to direct the spray to the surfaces you are treating. Be sure you are wearing the appropriate safety equipment required by the product label of the chemical you are using.

Near homes (4 feet) with pets and kids?
    A

Commander Tri-Jet Fogger can be used as long as the products being used are labeled to be used in a ULV fogger. Our rule of thumb with any product is to keep children and pets out of the treatd area until dried.

I would like to freshen up my crawlspace. Will Clorox damage the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger?
    A

You should not use bleach in the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger at all. It will damage the fogger.  You can use a sprayer like the Chapin Industrial Poly Bleach Sprayer which is designed to hold up to the harshness of bleach.

    Q
Can this Commander Tri-Jet Fogger be used in a restaurant kitchen to kill bugs?
I need to treat kitchen for multi pest. I heard this can be used and there is little clean up or prep. Is that the case?
    A

The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger can be used in restaurant kitchen when it and the product you intend to use it are used as directed.  It is easy to use and good for small areas. You want to be sure that no food or utensils are exposed at the time of treatment, and any food-handling surfaces would need to be cleaned after fogging.
