You could potentially use a fogging solution inside the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger to kill flying insects such as hornets and wasps in your barn. ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate has hornets and yellowjackets on the label. Keep in mind that fogging solutions are unlikely to provide instant knockdown on larger insects like wasps, however. We advised wearing protective clothing and leaving the area as soon as possible after treatment. If you can get within about 15-20 feet of a nest, then you will get a much faster knockdown using a ready-to-use product such as PT Wasp Freeze Aerosol. Animals and food or feed should not be present or exposed when these products are applied.

The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger shoots out a cold ultra low volume spray and it does not contain a heating element. This product would likely perform very poorly for this use and would likely end up drenching people in product. We would advise using a fog machine specifically for your use/product.
