The helmet of the Complete Professional Bee Suit could be damaged by rain as it is not exactly rainproof. It does have a slight coating on to make it a little water-repellent, but we would not recommend wearing in heavy rain.

The Complete Professional Bee Suit contains one thick layer of fabric The hood/veil is ventilated. When used as described by the manufacturer you should not be able to be stung. You also wear a layer of clothing under it for added protection.
