Can I just spray a ground bee nest with wasp and hornet spray or do I need to buy some kind of dust too?
I am interested in buying one of your bee suits and don't know if I really need any other products. This is for home use only. I am not in the pest business.

Most wasp and hornet sprays only contain pyrethrins which is an active ingredient that will only kill insects that come into contact with it while it is wet. Most folks do not want to have to spray down every bee or wasp in a nest with the wasp and hornet spray so they apply a dust such as Tempo Dus…

Most wasp and hornet sprays only contain pyrethrins which is an active ingredient that will only kill insects that come into contact with it while it is wet. Most folks do not want to have to spray down every bee or wasp in a nest with the wasp and hornet spray so they apply a dust such as Tempo Dust or Delta Dust which will knockdown even those insects that usually do not come out of the nest.

Can I wear the veil from the Complete Bee Suit by itself, if I want to just tuck it into my clothing?
I want the whole suit for myself, but I will probably have my guys wear their Tyvek suits. We'll just share the veil. Could it work?

The veil from the Complete Bee Suit is not actually attached to the suit, so it could in fact be shared. We would not recommend wearing Tyvek suits for bee/wasp jobs. The Tyvek suits are very thin and they do not have elastic around the wrists and ankles, which means the bees could most likely crawl…

The Tyvek suits are very thin and they do not have elastic around the wrists and ankles, which means the bees could most likely crawl right in. We do recommend wearing a light colored, thick protective coverall (like the bee suit) over your clothing for the best protection against bees and other stinging insects

The veil on the Complete Professional Bee Suit does detach by way of the zipper. Simply bring both zippers to the right side to detach.

The description states 50/50 composition of the suit. I am not a pro bee keeper but a country property owner. I would use the suit in spring and fall pest applications. What is the expected shelf life of the suit in storage?

We bought one of your Complete Professional Bee Suit. Will rain hurt the bamboo helmet?
I am worried the bamboo will get wet as we get rain often.

The helmet of the Complete Professional Bee Suit could be damaged by rain as it is not exactly rainproof. It does have a slight coating on to make it a little water-repellent, but we would not recommend wearing in heavy rain.

How thick is the Complete Professional Bee Suit? Does it have multiple layers?
I have a few questions about the suit, firstly how many layers is it? Is it ventilated? How likely is it that yellow jackets will get in your boots/shoes when wearing this?

The Complete Professional Bee Suit contains one thick layer of fabric The hood/veil is ventilated. When used as described by the manufacturer you should not be able to be stung. You also wear a layer of clothing under it for added protection.
