Crystal Blue and Ocean Blue are food grade dye/colorants and are 100% safe for fish, animals, recreation, irrigation and potable water. Black Out is safe for fish, animals, recreation, irrigation, but is not safe for potable water. We would be happy to check with the manufacturer further though to make sure no staining will occur. -

Crystal Blue is manufacturered specifically for use in ponds. We do have other colorants such as Turf Mark Blue which is made to add to herbicides and may better suit your needs.
