No, Cynoff EC is only labeled to be used for fleas outside and cannot be broadcast on interior surfaces. Onslaught or Tengard SFR would be better options for inside flea control on carpets.
Cynoff EC can be applied indoors in cracks and crevices only. It is not labeled for use directly inside the shower or in or drains. We would recommend thoroughly cleaning to remove the product from the area. For labeled areas it is safe to return once dry, typically an hour inside. Please see the label for full application instructions.
Cynoff EC will kill waterbugs (American Roaches) if they come in contact with the treated surfaces. However, to eradicate roaches we also recommend using roach bait in conjunction. Please review our Roach Treatment Article and our New York Roach Control Kits.
Cynoff EC can be mixed at the rate of 0.5 - 1 ounce per gallon per 1,000 sq ft. Use the higher rate for severe infestations and the lower rate for maintenance.
No, this should not affect Cynoff EC when used. Be sure to do a small tank mixture to ensure there is no clumping of the product in the water.
No, Cynoff EC is not labeled for mole crickets.
We would recommend using Bifen XTS for mole crickets. The label recommends that you use the lower rate of 0.07 oz. per gallon of water in early Spring to control overwintered mole crickets. For summer applications, it is recommend to use the higher rate of 0.15 fl oz. per gallon of water.
Cynoff EC should not harm iguanas when used as directed. That being said they should be out of the area during treatment dry.
Unfortinately, Cynoff EC is not labeled for spider mites. I would recommend Forbid 4F Ornamental Insecticide Miticide. This will cover all types of spider mites as well including twospotted, southern red, boxwood, spruce, and euonymous.
Cynoff EC is only labeled for elm leaf beetles it would not be recommended for any other type.
The best product for pine bark beetles is Permethrin SFR 36.8%. Trees can be treated from April through to the end of June however trees must be sprayed protectively, before the beetles fly and attack. Spraying trees after they have been attacked will not save them. Once the tree is infested there isn't much you can do other than chop down the tree and burn it to try and prevent the current live ones from getting into any neighboring trees.
The tree should be sprayed from the ground to 15 ft up the trunk to prevent future infestations.
Cynoff EC is not labeled to target fire ants specifically, it only lists ants in general. Our informative guide on How to Get Rid of Fire Ants is a great resource, which provides detailed treatment recommendations and links to related products. Individual mound drenches with a product like Talstar P, or baiting with a product like Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait (providing the ants are foraging) are the most effective treatment methods for successful fire ant elimination.
