    Q
    Does Cyzmic CS kill earthworms?
I want to broadcast on my lawn for mosquitos but don't really want to kill all the worms. I know worms are a beneficial insect.
    A

Cyzmic CS is not labeled to kill earthworms. You can broadcast it on your lawn, around ornamental trees and shrubs. Keep in mind that most worms are deep in the soil where insecticide applications will not reach them. They also have a protective coating on their bodies that protects them from many toxins.

    Q
How does Cyzmic CS compare to Tengard SFR One Shot?
    A
Tengard SFR Termiticide Insecticide has Permethrin as it's active ingredient and targets subterranean termites, as well as over 75 other pests.  Cyzmic CS has an active ingredient of Lambda-Cyhalothrin, also has a large list of target insects and an excellent outdoor residual due to it's micro encapsulation formulation, but does not target subterranean termites.  Depending on the specific pest you are targeting, and whether you are focusing on indoor or outdoor applications should be the deciding factor between these two products.

  • Asked by James from Van Buren

    Q
Will Cyzmic CS kill horse flies?
I have horse flies around the pool with vegetation around it and woods further back. Horse flies are stinging the crap out of me. Will this kill them and keep them away/
    A

Cyzmic CS is not labeled specifically for horse flies but could kill those that contact a treated area long enough to get a lethal dose.

It's safe for your pets and children as long as they are kept away from the area during treatment and until it's completely dry.

You can also use Maxforce Granular Fly Bait inside an FBS-1 Fly Bait Station to help reduce activity in areas of high activity as well.

    Q
Can you tank mix OneGuard with Cyzmic CS?
    A

OneGuard is a 3 in 1 product that contains an insecticide, syngergist, and insect growth regulator all together, so there would be no benefits of mixing the product with Cyzmic CS. It would be more effective using the product alone.
