Yes, Demand CS can be used in a backpack sprayer.
While Demand CS could potentially kills squash bugs since it is a non-selective insecticide, you cannot use Demand CS on edible plants like a vegetable garden. We have many other products you could use for squash bugs on edible plants, such as Triple Action or Pyganic Gardening.
Drione Dust should only be applied to cracks and crevices in areas where it will remain undisturbed. It should not be used in open living areas, or in areas accessable to people or pets. Mopping over areas where Demand CS has been applied can remove the residual the product leaves behind once dry.

An insecticide such as Demand CS can be used to prevent infestations of bark beetles such as pine bark beetles, however usually this treatment is not effective once trees are already infested. You want to spray down the trunks of nearby trees to protect them from infestation. You may need to consult a local arborist if you are unsure whether the trees can be saved. You can usually trim and destroy infested branches, however keep in mind that this pest will usually infest trees that are already weak from some other existing issue (disease, drought, etc.).
There is such a small amount of the active ingredient in Demand CS that actually gets on the bugs before they die that it will not affect any animals that consume the dead bugs
Demand CS should be removed by just using soap and water. If this is not working and your dog continues to get sick we advise you contact the manufacturer Syngenta at 866-796-4368.
Demand CS can be applied to surfaces of buildings, porches, screens, window frames, eaves, patios, garages, refuse dumps, and other similar areas where these insect pests are active. When using Demand CS, it can take minutes to hours to kill insects. The active ingredient needs time to work through the follicle of the insect to the central nervous system.
You can mix Demand CS with an herbicide as long as there are no restrictions on the label for the other product that you are using. We recommend performing a small jar test for compatibility any time you are using two new products together for the first time. Be mindful that you are only applying your herbicide in the correct areas.
Demand CS particles are too large and have the potential to clog the fogger. Demand CS and Exciter can be mixed together for mosquito control for use in a pump sprayer. Demand CS is not labeled for use inside of a fogger.
ExciteR Insecticide would be the best choice to be mixed with other insecticides such as Demand CS Insecticide. Residual insecticides do not kill on contact, instead, they area bit more slow-acting. So you can use a synergist such as Exciter to kill anything it comes in contact with. Exciter leaves no residual so it needs to be mixed with a residual insecticide. It is labeled for a variety of flying insects such as mosquitoes & flies. It can be sprayed more often than residual insecticides since it has no residual. Products such as Demand or Talstar should only be sprayed every 3-4 weeks due to their long-lasting residual while Exciter can be sprayed more frequently (if needed).
Although Demand CS Insecticide will kill ants if they come into contact with the treated area, we would suggest the products included in our Outdoor/Indoor Ant Kit, which contains the professional pest control products you need to control most common species of ants found inside and outside of homes and other structures and is designed primarily for customers who are dealing with active ant infestations both indoors and outdoors.
We would not recommend mixing Demand CS Insecticide with another insecticide such as Bifen. There are no benefits from mixing the two products together. Instead, we would recommend alternating the two products. You can alternate spraying between the two every 30 days
Demand CS Insecticide is not labeled for Nooseums.
We would recommend using Talstar P. It is a very good general insecticide that is labeled for noseeums. This can be broadcast across your lawn, sprayed on bushes, trees, flowers, etc. It should not be sprayed on water or any type of edibles. You will mix 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water.
