Demon Max is an insecticide and does not clean surfaces. It would be used for residual control of insects that contact treated areas and could be used. You would not mix with detergent nor do we recommend mixing anything with detergents as they are not designed to be used as surfactants.
Neither Demon Max or Taurus SC can be used in any type of misting system. You can find all of the products we offer for misting systems here.
Yes, Demon Max would be a good option for drenching fire ant mounds as directed on the product label.
We would recommend keeping birds out of areas treated with Demon Max for several hours until the product dries and any odor dissipates.
Demon Max can be used in a mist blower at ½ fl oz per gallon of water. It is recommended to wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection when using Demon Max per the SDS. We do offer these items in our Basic Safety Kit.
Demon Max cannot be mixed into paints or stains.
Demon Max is not labeled for bagworms. As an alternative,consider using a product like Talstar P. Please also check out our article on How to Control Bagworms.
We recommend using Demon Max in combination with Archer IGR.
Demon Max applications should be kept at least 15 feet from a well and should not be applied over the top of an open well. Wells should be covered to prevent drift/overspray from contact.
Demon Max can only be used in cracks and crevices and along baseboards inside. If the moths are coming from these areas it could kill those that contact the treated areas only.
Demon Max is labeled to treat for roaches and other common insects. It has a residual of 90 days indoors and 30 days outdoors. If the odor of Demon Max is too strong for you, take a look at Talstar P. It is colorless and odorless. It also has the same residual and is labeled for just about any insect. Please keep in mind that we do not recommend using only a spray such as Demon Max for eradication of a roach infestation. Demon Max is not labeled for grubs. We do carry several products that are labeled for grubs such as Adonis 2F, Merit Granules, Milky Spore and Dylox. Please see our article on How To Get Rid of Grubs here.
Demon Max has the ability to do both the things you mentioned, both stain siding due to its oil base, and soak into brick leaving an oily finish and not providing as much chemical on the surface for an insect to absorb. It would be better to use a product like the Demon WP which would sit on the surface better, not stain, and last longer.
Demon Max does not require watering in after application to lawns, but how much water you use can vary depending on the target pest, ie surface vs subsurface dwelling insects. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions
As long as there are no specific instructions on any label to not mix a herbicide with an insecticide or vice versa, you can. Also, as long as you're applying the right amount of Celsius Herbicide per 1,000 sq. ft., you can mix it with Demon Max and Nyguard IGR. If you do end up mixing them, we recommend to follow the most restrictive label.
