How toxic is Demon WP to fish and dogs?
I have a pond with catfish approx. 50 yards from my house and during hard rains water runs off form the house area into the pond. I'm having a big problem with scorpions.

Demon WP is not a problem to use around pets as long as you apply it according to the product label. Once Demon WP is mixed with water, it is only strong enough to kill small insects. You would not want to leave the jar of Demon WP open where dogs could get into a large quantity of it. It is always a good idea to keep pets and children out of the area while you are treating. Once the product dries, usually after 30 minutes, it is perfectly fine to allow pets and children back in the area. However, all pesticides are very dangerous to fish and aquatic life. You would not want to use Demon WP or any other pesticide near a body of water. 50 yards away is a good distance, but if the land sloped down towards the pond, then there may be a concern. If it does not, it should not be a problem to treat around your home that is 50 yards away from the pond.

The "WP" part in Demon WP stands for wettable powder, and wettable powders are what you want to use with spiders. Not only is this product very effective but it is still safe to use inside or outside and also safe if children or pets are present. Place a good, wide, barrier around the perimiter of your home and you will see a huge difference in the number of all insects you see around the home.

No, Demon WP will not plug up your sprayer, at least initially. You definitely have to mix wettable powders very well before applying it. You should fill the sprayer half way with water, scoop in the proper amount of product or drop in the Demon WP envelope, place the top on the sprayer and shake vigorously, then remove the top and fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water. The sprayer should work fine but you should only mix what you plan on using that day. Wettable powders will clog a sprayer when the solution is left in the sprayer overnight or for a long period of time. The powder will settle, become clumpy at the bottom of the sprayer, and will clog the sprayer when you try to re-use it. So only mix what you are going to use right then and you should have no problems.

That is a hard question to answer because both work very well. However, we do sell the Demon WP in our Roach Control Kits and it does work a little faster and provides a punch for quick knock down. Sprays alone usually do not work. You should use this along with a Roach Bait so the roaches have something to take back in the walls and other hiding places that you do can not spray. What is the best approach for dealing with a serious roach infestation?
I have a serious roach infestation in my house. I have been dealing with this problem, off and on, for about 3 years. Everything I've tried has only been a band-aid for the real problem and now I'm seeing hundreds of roaches skeetering around my kitchen and walls at all hours of the day and night. What is the best approach for dealing with this infestation? Apply Demon WP to exterior door frames, window frames, places where utilities (cables pipes and wires) enter into the structure, eaves, soffits, around the bottom of the foundation and out onto the ground several feet. If you have an existing insect infestation, you may also need to spray indoors around the door frames, window frames, places where utilities (cables, pipes and wires) enter into the structure and around the baseboards. Demon WP will last for about 4 weeks outdoors and about 12 weeks indoors.

Demon WP can leave a white powdery residue on dark surfaces. If the powdery residue is a concern, you can choose a micro-encapsulated product such as Onslaught Fast Cap Spider and Scorpion.

Once the product has time to dry which usually only takes 30 minutes, it is safe for children and pets to re-enter the room.
