No Instructions 4 pole mounted Dynatrap bulb change

Screws on bottom of unit. Base is weighted. Laying it down, unit rolls around. I tried holding it upside down and undo the screws, unit slipped out of my hands - pole broke. I struggled for 2 hours. …
