Yes, per the EcoVia EC product label: Thoroughly spray all cracks and crevices where insects may hide or enter the building. Some of these areas include baseboards, floorboards, corners, around water and utility pipes, behind and under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, behind and beneath equipment and appliances, around floor drains, window and door frames and other possible pest harborage sites.
EcoVia EC cannot be used in grazing areas. You may want to consider Essentria All Purpose Insecticide instead, which will treat many of the same pests that EcoVia EC will, and is labeled for use in grazing areas.
Yes, EcoVia EC can be toxic to honey bees that may come in contact witha treated surface. To mnimize the risk of harm to bees, it is recommended to apply in the early morning or in the evening when bees are least active, and to avoid applying to any plants that are actively blooming. It is safe to use where there will be animals such as chickens. The chickens should be kept out of the area while you are applying the product and until everything is dry. EcoVia EC should not be mixed with other insecticides including Suspend SC.
EcoVia EC is an FIFRA 25(b) exempt product and does not have an EPA number. The lot number will depend on when the product was manufactured.
EcoVia EC is a great choice if you are seeking a natural concentrate to mix with water and apply to the outdoor areas for mosquito control. You will mix 1-4 oz of EcoVia EC per gallon of water depending upon application site and insect. See the product label for specific application instructions. It does have a residual of 3-4 weeks.
Yes, we have several options. EcoVia EC from Rockwell labs is a National Organic Program certified insecticide that can be used in mosquito misting systems. A similar product that is also available is Essentria IC3. We also sell the all-natural product Naprovit PRO Plus, which has a different plant oil base and can be used in misting systems.
EcoVia EC can safely be applied around the outside perimeter of veggie gardens. Be sure to apply on a less windy day to reduce the risk of drifting into the garden. For use on edible plants, we suggest Essentria All Purpose Insecticide.
EcoVia EC does have a residual of 3-4 weeks no matter what you use to dilute the product.
Essentria IC3 or EcoVia EC would be a great option for pest control. We suggest that adults (included those that are pregnant), children and pets should be out of the area during treatment. They can return once the surfaces have completely dried and the home has been ventilated.

EcoVia EC states on the product label: * This product is not recommended as sole protection against termites and is not approved as a pre-construction treatment for subterranean termites. It is really only for spot treating active termites. Termidor SC would be the best product for trenching as prevention.
Both EcoVia EC and Bifen IT are great for general pest control, both can be sprayed on ornamentals and vegetation (as long as it is not edible vegetation), and both products are labeled to control mosquitoes. It is highly recommended to add an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) to stop their cycles to help prevent future infestations as well.

EcoVia EC has a 3-4 week residual per the manufacturer. The Bifen IT has a residual of up to 30 days outdoors and up to 90 days indoors.
The Bifen and Ecovia are both labeled for many of the same pests, however, the Bifen is labeled to target more insects. For example, the Bifen is labeled to control up to 75 different insects including carpet beetles whereas the Ecovia is not. Both products are effective as long as you are following the instructions on the product label.
Ecovia is labeled as a livestock spray for breeding stock and recreational animals (Cattle, Swine, Horses, Goats and Sheep) as well. The Bifen IT is not labeled for this same use. Please be sure to review the product labels for more information and complete application instructions.
