Ferry Morse Jiffy Seed Starter Greenhouse 72 is a greenhouse with 72 small pots that are already formed out of opaque plastic, so no Jiffypots or Jiffystrips are in there. Just place some soil and seeds and start growing the plants.This lightweight plastic planting tray is an 11 x 22 inch tray with 72 small pop-out cells, each perfect for germinating three to five seeds. Simply fill the cells with soil and place them in the handy base tray. Then plant the seeds, cover the tray with the reusable clear plastic greenhouse dome (sold separately) to create the proper humidity level, and watch them grow. When your seedlings are well rooted, simply pop the individual plants from the container, and they're ready for replanting in a larger pot or in your garden.

This starter kit is good to start seedlings. It's built quite strong. But, when it's time to transplant a seedling to the garden or pot, it's hard to remove the individual seedlings from the cells. The strength of this product isn't flexible enough or as forgiving to cut the cell away from the tray or push the transplant from the bottom of the individual and keep the root ball intact. If the individual cells weren't as thick as they are, then the product would be a little bit easier and pliable to work with at the time of transplanting
