Sprayed grasses in food plot at about 3”, after 2 weeks it looked like a 50/50 kill off. I sprayed again, we'll see what the results are in a couple weeks.

I followed the directions religiously like I have done with every other product in my yard over the last 20 years. The end result is that my front lawn, Zoysia, is now 90% dead and I have more weeds than I do grass. Here it is the middle May & I am going to have replace my entire front lawn. I have used many such products in the past and have never been so disappointed. One bottle of this product will end up costing me thousands of dollars. Be warned.

I sprayed 3 gallons via a backpack sprayer on my clover plot on 5-18 20. Was back out there today, 5-27-20, and the grasses were looking like there are heading for being dead. It is not an instantaneous kill but it is working like it should. The clover looks great with all the grasses dying out. I am very pleased.

Dang it I wish I could remember the lady's name that helped me out when I called. Anyway not knowing what kind of junipers I had as well as what kind of grassy weeds I had, she pointed me to grass out max, long story short, 1/2oz to a gallon (which I trusted her, ( I felt like it wouldn't be enough put I trusted her :) with in 2 - 3 weeks it knocked out the weeds without effecting my junipers. awesome stuff, highly recommend.

Upon arrival the box was half soaked with the grass out. The seal /cap was loose. I am thankful the shipping box was wrapped in plastic, however the product was quite strong.

put it on at about .7oz to. 1 gal water did nothing after 10 days put it on again at about 1.5 oz. to 1 gal water still nothing waste of time and money should be on stars but would not allow i should get my money back

Does not work as fast as roundup (weed killer), give it a couple weeks. Best price per mixed oz.

Yup, it killed all the grasses, perennial and rye that snuck back into my deer hunters mixture (radishes turnips etc). Looks great again. I'm sure the deer appreciate the clean look now.

Only killed Johnson grass. Other grasses are still green and strong after 2 weeks. Applied 16 oz. per acre.

I am only giving 2 stars not because the chemical didn't work but because the 1 gallon jug it came in was just a little over half full. No spillage was found in the box it came it. Felt like I was ripped off.

Spring i planted English ivy 1ft grid pattern . Middle of summer grass taken over. After 3 application of cethodim by directions grass gone. Hoping ivy takes over by next spring but if grass comes back will apply again.

Wanted something that would kill grass that was planted in flower beds unintentionally by overflow from overseeding my lawn. This product is easy to apply and killed the grass without harming other plants.

It works just fine on grass in flower beds without harming the flowers when used according to directions!

This is a herbicide that is specific to grass species. Does not harm most other types of plants. BUT read the very detailed instructions carefully!! Some (a few) ornamental plants could damaged by this Grass Out Max, and there is a comprehensive list in the instructions. I used this in flower beds/landscaping where invasive grasses like Bermuda were growing in and around desired ornamental plants. I have seen a pretty good kill of the grasses. However, my area was starting to get pretty dry when I sprayed. The instructions will tell you Grass Out Max is effective on actively growing grass, but not as effective on drought-stressed grass. I have a few areas I will have to respray after the grass gets some water. Two things to know: this Grass Out Max has to have time to travel through the grass blades (leaves) down into the roots. You won't see the grass dying for several days. Be patient, it's working. Second, shield adjacent lawn grass areas from the spray ( I sprayed with a 2 gallon tank garden sprayer), use a tarp or something similar. Remove right after you spray, and be careful not to allow the part of the tarp that has wet spray on it to drag over the grass. Overall very satisfied with results I got.

Sprayed clethodim on my arrowleaf clover to kill thick bermuda and it did the job. As others have reported it takes 2-3 weeks. Bermuda was very thick and now it's beaten down and the clover should make a great plot on into fall.

Followed directions and the grass laughed at it. Doubled the amount and it did kill some but not a lot.

applied 12 ounces per acre to activitly growing fescue grass. I used 2 quarts of crop oil in 100 gallons of water. material had little if any effect on grass

Effective and reasonable price for grass control in clover food plots. Same active ingredient as Arrest Max.

First off, the included pamphlets are very detailed and you might need to calculate the proper application for your situation. All that being said, I read a review that said to use 0.4 fluid ounces per gallon of mixture with 0.35 fluid ounces of a surfactant. This calculation was correct for my application once I worked out the proper rate from the pamphlets. I have an atv mounted 20 gallon sprayer that I use to spray food plots and around the house for all my needs. I needed this product to treat a field of sunflowers for wildlife on my property. I mixed the recommended rate that I received on this website and it really worked! All the field grasses were killed with the sunflowers looking not to be scathed. The product does take some time to work so don't expect a 24 hour turn around like some herbicides promote. It takes about a week to 10 days to work. I'm very happy with this product and this website to provide the insight into the specific application for my needs. I am now thinking to use this product on my flowerbeds and garden beds that get infested with grasses after I work so hard to prepare the areas. I'm going to research the provided pamphlets to ensure I'm mixing the correct dosage but this website does provide a valuable resource with their expertise.

This has been an excellent product to kill grass that invades the Junipers and other plantings where grass does not belong. It is a little slow acting, but very effective at killing the grass, without harming the plant.

Had Johnson grass try to take over my sunflower plot this spring, and the Grass Out Max used with Surfactant took care of the problem!

The product worked as advertised. Mine leaked about 4 ounces during shipping which soaked the cardboard box; I doubt the delivery guy was happy. Please consider putting this item in a zip-lock type bag prior to boxing to avoid product loss.
