This didn't work for my ants
By Pam on 11/18/2024
I was looking for a way to deal with ants without going through all the disposable plastic containers from Terro outdoor bait stations. I loaded this into bait stations, and.....nothing. Not a single ant, and they are all over my artichokes and strawberries. So it's back to Terro, which is much more expensive, uses more plastic, but works great.
Really Works.

You have to be patient and remove other sources of sugar
By Linda on 09/23/2021
I initially gave this bait a 1 star review because it wasn't attracting any ants. I then wrapped all my citrus and oak trees with tape and smeared tape with tangle guard goo to deny ants access to these trees (this works!). Once the ants could not access their favored source of sugar, they eventually entered the traps and started eating this bait. But it took about 2 or more weeks for ants to move this bait. During that time about half of the bait evaporated. I think, but am not sure, that the result of the evaporation concentrated the sugar in the bait by about two fold. So it could be that the ants are now entering the traps because the bait is two times sweeter. Don't know for sure since I didn't do a controlled experiment.
Wonderful

Did not attract ants in my garden
By Pamela on 01/14/2025
I purchased this as a less expensive and less packaging option to a leading brand that has always worked great for me. I followed directions, filling bait stations, and got NO ANTS at all in the bait stations. I called DoMyOwn customer service and was told that it might work better in another season when ants are seeking sugar. I'll keep trying it, but in the meantime, I'm using the other brand's bait stations with all their packaging and they are attracting ants with supposedly the same bait. I am very disappointed in this product and will not buy it again.
I was very disappointed with this product.

This product was used to treat Argentine ants in a garden area using ants no more bait stations. I used this product due to the large area. I should have used Maxforce Quantum.
Expert response:
Thank you for taking the time to review this product. Please keep in mind that we always recommend using both a liquid ant bait (carbohydrate-based) and a granular ant bait (protein-based) due to the fact that ants can be picky, and will sometimes only accept the liquid bait or sometimes only accept the granule bait, depending on what nutritional needs they are trying to meet. You can use both bait formulations in each of the Ants No More stations at the same time. You should place the stations near areas where you are seeing high levels of ant activity. Check the stations once a week and replenish the bait as needed until the ant population has been eliminated. Also, it is important to remember that there are times when the ants you are targeting are not foraging at all, which means that neither type of bait will be taken, if the colony is not in need of a food source. We had hired a pest control company to rid us of ants entering our house and yet we still had ants, I found this product and after 1 year the ants were and are GONE. I have recommended this product to many people and will continue to do so! Well worth every penny!! It has been 3 or 4 years since my initial use, so I know it did it's job, now when I find ant hills in the yard, I carefully place the bait nearby and watch the magic do it's thing!
Wow great product!

I was on my wits end and up to my knees in ants. MaxForce traps worked for round 1 ants but then when round 2 ants showed up they didn't want any part of them so I decided to try this product. I was a little skeptical at first seeing how watery it was but within a week the ants were all gone!

Got Honeydew instead of what I ordered
By Sue on 07/05/2011
We have used this product before and it has worked well for us. It is easy to use and takes care of carpenter ants. Shortly after we fill the baits we see a few more ants and then they seem to disappear. I ordered the regular bait because that is what we have used before. I was sent the honeydew and will wait to see what the results are. I would rather have gotten what I ordered.

What more can I say...."This stuff really works!" I tell everyone who mentions an ant problem. We have 2 feeders and we use them everywhere, in the shed, at camp around the trees, in our reinforcing wall. We see ants set the feeders out...No More Ants!
