Hyperion Advanced Mist Concentrate will kill mosquitoes, flies, and small flying moths on contact with a three day residual period. It is a new misting formula that allows stable dilution in water and is effective at very low mix rates. Hyperion is the premiere residential misting product that uses the active ingredient that has been widely used to kill mosquitos during outbreaks after hurricanes such as Rita and Katrina, and also during the West Nile virus outbreak in 2012. Hyperion will give temporary relief of annoyance pests in outdoor areas and in barns.
It is easy to mix, reduces dilution variability due to droplet size being consistent and provides stability in solution.
It is the perfect solution for the use in mosquito misting systems along with the use in barns.

Are either Essentria or Hyperion as effective? I use the misting primarily for mosquito control, and Riptide is 80%-85% effective. Some people draw more mosquitoes than others I've found. Thank you.
Either of the 3 would be equally effective for a quick knockdown of mosquitos. Hyperion will give you a contact kill and up to a 3 day residual. Riptide is only effective while it is wet, there is no residual after it dry. If you are looking for a product that will give you a residual, we recommend using Bifen IT in a pump or backpack sprayer. The Riptide or Hyperion will provide your quick knockdown for immediate results if you still want that and you can allow the misting system to go off while the residual of the Bifen IT will last at least 30 days on treated surfaces such as plants/bushes and trees. You would use 1oz of Bifen per gallon of water and spray tops and underneath sides of leaves and areas that hold moisture that are prime for mosquitoes to harbor for best control.

Is it any more effective than Sector with mosquitoes?
Hyperion Advanced Mist Concentrate can be used in a mister. It would be recommended that kids and pets be out of the area while it is in use. It would be comparable to Sector in terms of contact kill, it just contains a different active ingredient but also has a three day residual period which Sector does not.

I have a misting system over the outdoor patio. We have light colored fabric on our patio furniture. Will this solution stain fabric?
Since Hyperion Advanced Mist Concentrate is not labeled to be used on fabrics of any sort, we are not sure if it would stain. We would recommend directing applications away from the furniture.
