It is late June, we have beetle leaf damage from strawberry root weevil beetles. What do you recommend?

Is this appropriate time for drench & should we use a foliage spray in addition. Lilac, holly, rose & wigelia w/ vinca groundcover at base.

Answer:

Please contact your local cooperative extension office to determine the correct timing of the application as this will vary greatly from region to region.  If you have a current infestation we would recommend a foliar spray with a product like Bifen IT.
