Jobe's Evergreen Tree Fertilizer Spikes is specially formulated to feed and support all types of evergreens where it is most required, at the roots. Unlike other sorts of fertilizers, these spikes are pre-measured, supplying your plants with just the proper and sufficient dosage of nutrients without overfeeding or burning them. Through underground feeding, away from the surface of the soil, this spike's slow release formula inhibits waste and chemical runoff. Highly ideal for acid-loving evergreen shrubs and trees. No mixing or measuring required just hammer the spike down into the soil under the tree's dripline. This spike fertilizer can be used during any season and comes in a pack of 15 spikes.

- Water the plant or tree well prior to application.
- Using a hammer and the plastic driving cap, drive spikes even with the soil’s surface.
- Remove the cap and continue hammering spike at least two more inches below the surface. Spikes should be evenly spaced in a circle along the tree’s dripline.
- Never insert spikes closer than 30 inches from the tree trunk.
- For best results, apply in early spring and late fall.
