VIPER inside insect spray really works

    By Sharon on 03/06/2014

We have used this Viper insect spray for many years and it is GREAT. We ordered it from DO My OWN PEST CONTROL because of the savings. We got more product for the cost. We willl continue to order online, not at our local dealer. The 16 oz that was purchased saved me 4 times on what I spend locally.

    Kills insects

    By Andy on 01/03/2015

I bought this concentrate last month. So far, no bugs except for a couple of dead spiders. It does have a small odor so spray (inside) when you're leaving your house for a while. Odor does not last long.

    Outstanding Product

    By Gwen on 03/08/2014

While living in Ohio, I had a major spider problem in my basement, which was slowly going into the rest of the house. An exterminator recommended this product. The concentrate lasts a long time producing 2 to 3 one gallon spray bottles. Once applied, continues killing pests for weeks. Unfortunately, I'm now in NY, where Viper is not permitted. Not sure I'll find another product as good as Martin's Viper.

Q
Can Viper Insecticide be used to control Asian Ladybugs and stink bugs this Fall?

I want something that won't show too much on the metal siding. I was going to use Demon WP but don't want anything to show against the light gray metal siding of the house.

A
Yes, the Viper Insecticide will work well to kill and control Asian Ladybugs and Stink Bugs. However, it may be necessary to incorporate an insecticide dust application to exterior wall voids, attics, and/or crawlspace to prevent these insects from overwintering and surviving the winter inside of your home. We would recommend the Cimexa Dust for this type of treatment in conjunction with the Viper Insecticide to provide complete protection and control.

Q
Does Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate give an immediate kill or a quick kill to lessen attacking bees?

Is this a contact spray concentrate? I want a pesticide or additive along the lines of Exciter. Treating nests at night is not an option in the exterminating business and the more bees that perish quickly the better.

A
Martins Viper Insecticide does provide a quick kill for bees. No, Viper is not a contact kill. You will use 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. ExciteR mixed with the Viper will provide a faster knockdown. It will give it an extra "kick". Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q
Will Viper Insecticide kill confused flour Beetles?
A
Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate is not labeled for confused flour beetles. We would recommend using Pantry Patrol Pheromone Traps for Beetles and Moths. This trap uses food grade oil and pheromones to attract and to trap many food pest beetles including the confused flour beetle. Be sure to locate and discard any infested items.

Q
Does Viper kill lice?
A
No, Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate is not labeled for lice. Unfortunately, we do not have an insect growth regulator that is specifially labeled to control the growth cycle of body lice. However, we do have a product, BioDefense Indoor Insecticide that is a natural and organic contact insecticide that is 100% safe for children and animals. BioDefense does not have a wait to dry or re entry time and it kills all life stages of insects including lice.

Q
Can Viper be used against termites??
A
Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate will kill termites that come in contact with the treated area.  However, do not recommend Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate to treat a termite colony. We first need to know what type of termites you are dealing with? You can contact a local pest control company to come do and inspection, normally free, and then let us know what they find. You can begin reading up on various methods of termite treatments on our Termite Control page.

Q
How well would it work on sow bugs and pill bugs?

I know it says it kills sow bugs and pill bugs, but based on the fact these critters live mostly in the soil and damp places, does it only kill them on contact? If there is a better product against sow bugs, would you please recommend that as well. Thank you.

A
Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate is labeled for both sowbugs and pillbugs. The product provides a quick knockdown and a residual. It will not kill on contact. Martins Viper Insecticide does provide a residual of about 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors.
