By the time I realized what was going on I had carpenter ants infesting my roof and were now entering the house. I tried spraying, killed some but were back the next day. I bought the granular and the gel. It looked like they did not eat too much, but the very next day all the ants I saw were either dead or punch drunk. 5 days later not an ant to be seen. The shipping was very fast also.

I used this in addition to Bug be gone granular. Still a few mounds but I believe this helped. Thanks Do my own.

I reside in Southern Louisiana, where Fire Ants are a Nemis in this State, I tried a lot of products from Home Depot and Lowe's, didn't work !! Maxforce is the Truth, it may take multiple applications for about 2 to 4 weeks .. But my back yard and trees are free from those Aliens from South America!!

I did order for fire ants as it stated here to work but it's non effective. It may work for something else but not for fire ants, don't waste your money.

This really works. Good results within 12 hours. Some beds, when large, needed second treatment, but these were really large beds. Will order more soon for next year.

Great price, quick shipping, and a great product. This stuff works great on the fire ant mounds on my property and it only takes a little (1 or 2 tbsp per mound). This 4 lb. jug will last me years.

No joke folks !! Every spring I get two types of ants coming in my crib...little small brown "normal" ants and those tough carpenter ants. So this year I flipped the script and went Proactively RAMBO on them before they came inside my house. I went to look for them and I used this granular bait all around my house perimeter where I saw the little brown ants on their trails. I followed the instructions and did not sprinkle the bait directly on the trail they were walking on...only a about 12-16" away from the trail lines about every 4-6 feet with about a few shakes while I was walking. Now....the 2nd day I saw NO ANTS on the several trails they were on days before! I am so impressed !! I haven't seen any carpenter ants around my house yet this spring but when/if I do....I'm now "ready" for them too...bring it !! LOL!! Thanks to Maxforce Complete Granular Bait, this stuff just plain works !!

We have been having issues with tiny ants invading our home. We tried a well known product available at strores, and sprayed the house inside where we could see them trailing in, and outside as well. It at best stopped the problem for 24 hours, and the chemical smell was awful (can't be healthy for you). So, we bought this granular, applied outside the house, and it has been amazing! We have not seen any ants. Since you are applying outside it stops the problem before the ants can enter, and the inside of your home is spared the chemicals. It is like having a barrier around your home for ants and other critters, works, and affordable! I highly recommend this product!

Not really sure what to rate it... I had large black ants under the carpet in the living room. Put some bait down, put the carpet back down.... check about a week later, no ants... but still plenty of bait... bait that I have laid outside around the home in various places show no activity, or diminished amounts... so I am not real sure what to think or what to rate it... small ants seem to ignore it... I am not sure if it is the bait, or just a change in the weather that drove them out... it is odd... I had also bought another brand from a local store...same story... so I just don't know what to attribute to the bait. But I am glad the ants don't seem to be around. After they were gone, I also laid down some Raid, just to keep them out of there... but they are probably somewhere else in the home too... but it is really hard for me to check everywhere...

I had bull ants in the house. Since I used the Maxforce I have seen fewer. The product was as advertised and came within a week. I would by from DoMyOwn again.

I originally purchased this based on the reviews and the many types of ants it would control. My yard is approximately 1 1/2 acres. Surrounding that yard is pasture (mesquites, some cactus and various types of grass). I've seen Carpenter, Crazy, Fire, Pharaoh, and Pyramid ants. Most of these I've had under control with the exception of the Pyramid ants. They were taking over most of my cactus garden and the east side of the edge of my yard (Bermuda and Buffalo grass). Probably at least 40 to 50 mounds. I used Maxforce Complete Granular Bait in all of those areas. It looked like the granules would be to large for the ants since they were so small, but I already made the purchase so I might as well give it a try. The next day I went to check the areas and there was no difference. It looked as though they had only taken some of the bait. Great, I wasted my money on one that didn't work. During the next week there was rain off and on with a total of about 3". I knew the Pyramid ants would be everywhere. After it had some time to dry, I checked the treated areas and I couldn't believe it. I saw maybe 3 or 4 Pyramid ants in the entire area. No mounds. Unbelievable, apparently the ants were killed and the mounds washed away. I'm very impressed with how well this worked and will certainly be purchasing more. Thanks!

We live in the Mojave Desert, which is as good as it gets if you're an ant looking for a place to live. Large red ants had taken over the back yard and started appearing out front of the house as well. All previous attempts to eradicate them; burning, digging up and spraying, Borax, gasoline down the hole-failed. They would disappear for a bit then come back. I ordered some of this stuff and it arrived very quickly. Sprinkled some around each of the mounds in the backyard and placed a small amount out in front where i had seen them running around. Before all of the granules had hit the ground they started carrying them down the hole. Immediately. I came back to check on them about an hour later and was delighted to see a full-fledged supply train going down the holes. I had never used a dedicated ant poison on them before and couldn't help thinking the surprise was going to kill them! Next morning they were ALL GONE. Not a one was seen anywhere. Very impressed with this product.

Unfortunately Did Not work, it multiplies them the cockroaches all over not even the crikets as it shows in the picture/instructions!!

This was recommended by a Terminix tech friend, along with Temprid, to control roaches and ants outside, and keep them from entering my basement apartment. Been a few weeks, haven't been seeing anymore pests. Highly recommend.

I wrote a review a few days ago about the granules. I said it was not working. I find it, now, to be working to kill roaches but I have not seen that is has killed ants. Maybe I should give it a little more time to see results.

I used these on one fire ant colony and two other types of ant colonies. I used about a teaspoon twice and have not seen any ants in the last three weeks! Just make sure anything not carried in by the ants is not around for your pets!

After 7 weeks of "argentine ants from hell" torture, this stuff appears to have eradicated them from in the dwelling. Hardly uses any "Sprinkled around buildings in a 1-2 foot wide band adjacent to the structure at a rate of 0.5 oz (one tablespoon) of bait per 25 linear feet" as directed did the job!

The ants walked around this bait. They did not touch it. They were small black ants, some had tiny wings and could not fly very well.

Applied in two week intervals for six weeks. The carpenter ants just walk all over it and never pick it up. The label lists carpenter ants as one of the target ants.

I can't really speak to the granules, all I saw was the ants on the gel, but if the ants were in a "protein" search then the granules likely would have been their first choice. The granules are also a little messy since they cling to static and the dumb trays caused them to fly all over the floor. This is why I am a little less than 5 star because, The delivery system for these two products is not up to par.

I had ants digging into my patio tiles bringing up sand from below. After a few trys with other products which did not work I sprinkled Maxforce in select spots. Within 3 days they were gone.

Fastest delivery ever. I ordered it on Friday and had it on Saturday. Plus it's a very effective product. I applied it in the early evening. Saw the ants start carrying it away within minutes, and the next day no ants!
