Compare to Precor IGR Concentrate (same active ingredient). Meteor IGR breaks the flea life cycle by inhibiting the ability of adult fleas to lay eggs and reproduce, making it an essential part of any indoor flea control program. Once applied, Meteor IGR lasts up to 210 days (7 months). Meteor can be safely applied to carpets, rugs, pet bedding and furniture. 1 oz. of Meteor IGR treats 1,500 sq ft.
Please note: Meteor IGR does not kill adult fleas. Instead, it stops adult fleas from laying eggs, eventually breaking the flea life-cycle and reducing the infestation gradually over time. Therefore, we recommend using this product in combination with an adulticide that kills adult fleas, such as D-Fense SC Insecticide. You can mix Meteor IGR with 1 oz. of D-Fense SC in a gallon of water and spray both products at the same time!

Meteor IGR Concentrate & Flea Control
By Bob on 12/05/2012
I have three rescued cats. Two do not even attempt to go outside but one sneaks out whenever he gets an open door long enough to do so. He is always willing and ready to come back inside his home safe haven after a couple of hours. The "wanderer" has managed to bring a few fleas back into the house. Now we have fleas. Not a bad infestation but found a few on the "indoor" cats but we realize if the few are not dealt with soon, fleas can get out of control fast. We purchased and used Meteor IGR Concentrate with Conquer Liquid Insecticide with hopes of quickly ending our flea problem. Just made the first application. As you may or may not know with flea control, a second application will be necessary at the two week point to ensure the demise of all four flea stages. I am sure it will be effective since I have used it in the past, many years ago. Good stuff but the instructions for this product and flea control must be followed explicitly. Carpeted areas must be vacuumed thoroughly and empty and clean vacuum.... If this isn't done, it just is not going to work no matter what chemical you use or how often you us it.

my savior
By Clark on 04/13/2013
I moved into a house that had one of the worst flea infestations I have ever seen. The yard, The house, hell the neighborhood. After one treatment in combo with an adult flea killer, My infestation was cut down by 90 percent. after subsequent treatments the house is free of fleas. now its time to tackle the yard.

METEOR IS GREAT FOR CONTROL
By Stephanie on 10/10/2015
I had a great deal of success controlling the flea infestation with Meteor IGR. Its highly affordable too! It gave me hope that those stubborn fleas would not be in my apt. forever. HOWEVER it couldn't seem to eradicate the fleas. Each infestation is different, but for my severe infestation, Meteor only controlled the fleas so that I didn't get bit so much. I wouldn't recommend it for the tougher infestations of fleas. Great for lighter infestations though.

Is Meteor safe to use inside where my foster cats roam - all over :) We sent the mother and six kittens to be spayed/neutered and they came back crawling. It's gone from bad to worse quickly. Any feedback/suggestions?

Is this the saturation prior to dilution or after? In other words is it 1.2% after you dilute the concentrated Methoprene or does Meteor start out at 1.2% ?
