    Does Monument 75WG Herbicide kill Poa Annua that is already growing?
    Will it prevent future growth?

    Monument 75WG Herbicide is labeled for and will treat actively growing Poa Annua. A repeat application may be needed after 4-6 weeks. Since Monument 75WG Herbicide is a post Emergent, it may not stop Poa Annua from germinating.

    Do I need a surfactant when using Monument?

    You do not have to use a surfactant with Monument, however the label states you can mix in a nonionic surfactant to help the Monument to stick and penetrate the weeds.

    You can toss one 0.5 gram WSP Monument 75WG Herbicide water soluble packet into two gallons of water in a backpack or handheld sprayer. Perfect for smaller jobs or ease of use - no measuring!

    You would need 0.5 gram Monument 75WG pre-measured water soluble packets. Toss the packet into two gallons of water in a backpack or handheld sprayer. This will cover 1000 sq. feet.

    I live in South Carolina. Is it too late to put monument down in this heat or should we wait until it's cooler?
    Some experts say it may turn grass yellow?

    Monument 75WG Herbicide is a post-emergent herbicide that should be put down when the weeds are already emerged. There are no limitations on weather. It should be used as directed by the label. Be mindful of the type of turf you have to avoid your grass being burned.

    Monument 75WG is labeled to be used on Bermuda and Buffalo grass.  It will not harm or mature trees but is only labeled to be applied across lawns, not landscaped areas.

    Will Monument 75WG control goose grass, Virginia nutsedge and chickweed/various broad leaf weeds?
    Attempting to salvage my yard and grow bermuda (again) and I'm hoping to find a single product to address my biggest weed problems.

    Monument 75WG is labeled for both nutsedge and chickweed, it is not labeled for goosegrass.  We do carry the Dismiss South Herbicide which is labeled for all three weeds as well as several other broadleaf weeds.

    Is Monument safe to use on Fescue? I'm in North Carolina and trying to kill POA!

    Monument 75WG Herbicide will kill Fescue grass. The best way to treat for Poa Annua is by using a pre emergent like Bensumec 4LF. This way you will prevent it from germinating. Bensumec can safely be applied to Fescue lawns.

    No, adding an indicator dye to Monument 75WG Herbicide will not have an effect on the herbicide.

    This is the only hope I've seen for poa. Will Monument 75WG Herbicide kill my Fescue lawn?
    Poa slowly came into the edge of lawn last year killed with typical weed killers. Now it's popping up everywhere in my lawn. Need to wipe it out badly before it gets worse.

    Monument 75WG Herbicide may supress or damage Fescue. Since Poa Annua is considered a "grass" it is hard to recommend a product that will not harm Fescue. Please contact your Master Gardner through your extension office.
