The fruit fly traps will only catch adult fruit flies that are flying around. The traps alone will not get rid of fruit flies unless you find the source. If fruit flies are breeding from a piece of food that fell behind the stove and you do not get rid or find the food, you will continue to see the fruit flies in your kitchen or wherever they are. The traps only take care of the adults; you have to still eliminate the breeding site.

In restaurants, fruit flies almost always breed from the syrup and other food and drink that falls behind the bar areas and where the soda machines and soda guns are. We carry traps to catch the adult flies that are flying around, the best seller being our Natural Catch Plus Fruit Fly Traps. As far as the source and breeding sites, you should wash all of the areas underneath the bar and soda areas to clean any syrup or other sticky areas and places where food could have failed behind or under machines It is also a good idea to apply a product like Invade Hot Shot which is a foam that will eat away any organic matter that fruit flies breed in.
