Onslaught
By Anonymous on 05/22/2018
Onslaught is the only thing I have found that kills birdmites. I so encourage anyone that has them to buy this product. Nothing else helped.
Expert response:
While we are so glad to hear of success using Onslaught, please keep in mind that there is not sufficient research for DoMyOwn to recommend this or other specific products for the treatment of bird mites.

Yellow Jacket Next
By John on 09/18/2015
I went through 10 cans of wasp and hornet spray with no luck. The yellow jackets went into the window frame after I knocked down there nest and there was no killing them with the spray. After buying the 16 oz. bottle of Onslaught Insecticide, I was home free. It took about a week of applications but I was finally totally free of the yellow jackets. In the long run, I liked putting the product into a pump spray container instead of the cans.

onslaught for yellow jackets

Dropping like flies! LOL
By David on 06/04/2012
Just spent 3 hours spraying outside house, entire garage, shed, trampoline, pool, deck, flower beds, front - side and part of back lawn. There was a slight odor, not very noticable; expecially compared to home depot stuff. We can actually walk on to the front porch with the light on and not get attacked!!! I love it; can't wait to see how long it lasts.

Smart insect
By R on 10/31/2011
The product does seem to work. When making yellow jacket bait it is difficult to get such a small measure of 1/4 teaspoon to 12 oz. of bait. I would dilute the product and adjust the measure accordingly. One thing to know about the yellow jacket is that it is smarter than you think; it will figure out after a few days the bait is poison and you will need to change the type of bait and container to get them to take more. I would make smaller amounts of bait at first to see how long it will be tasty to those bad girls.

the good stuff
By Larry on 06/05/2012
This stuff is really good! after spraying, the next day the place was littered with dead bugs, it seems to be really broad in what it will kill also, many solutions don't seem to bother spiders but this took care if them all. also no detectable oder

Midges
By Melva on 06/16/2012
Did NOTHING for midge control. Mixed 1st time @ .5% with no success. Ordered more onslaught ($$$), mixed @ 1% hoping for a big reduction at the very least. Two days later, the regular 'dusk swarm' was worse than EVER. Could not breathe without nose and mouth invasion and the high-pitched noise from their tiny wings in flight of the massive swarm was very loud. Bottom line...did not/does not work on midges as listed. They are still 'daytime nesting' in shrubs, grasses, and tree's bark that were very carefully sprayed/treated.

Onslaught Insecticide
By Bob on 10/01/2015
Product mixed and when added Exponent Insecticide Synergist also mixed well. Acquired a new puppy who came with ticks, so to keep them from spreading to my other animals, I purchased this product. Sprayed around house working closest to house to surrounding area. Appears to work as directed, will have to wait for a couple of months to see if there is continued protection.

Great Basic Pesticide
By Nick on 02/28/2016
I am impressed with the product. It last a long time after application and really controls the bugs. We sprayed outside the house and in select entry points and other areas inside the house. Orkin was going to charge over $200 for routine maintenance pest control service. Works just as well as the professional hired services if not better.

great Product - pest professional
By Michael on 07/28/2016
pest professional here and it is a great product when used correctly. Micro encapsulated formulation provides good control especially for spiders and virtually over two hundred other pests. I mainly used this in garages for long lasting control of spiders and scorpions. I would use this in spring and fall for ultimate control of spiders and cockroaches (smokey brown and American) the ones from outside. in the summer I use termidor and temprid sc for ant control. onslaught can also be used for indoor treatments crack and crevice.

Stuff works!!
By Fred on 07/21/2011
I sprayed outside of my house and the next evening when I inspected the perimeter with UV light, I found 4 dead scorpions. I can only assume the stuff works. Will use the whole bottle and keep checking the house for later reports.

Onslaught Insecticide Yellowjacket Control
By Barton on 11/22/2011
I use Onslaught in bait stations for Yellow jacket control anywhere people are congregating for meals outdoors. It seems to provide control best when the bait is covered with a protective roof. The bait is a combination of water and packaged meat of some sort. The meat is liquefied by a blender and mixed with the Onslaught as an attractant. Find the flight paths and intercept the paths with bait stations away from the primary eating areas. Paint the stations a dark color(grey, brown, or black).

Not very pleased
By Bill on 08/09/2016
I have followed the directions to the tee, and using chicken, tuna, and other meats as attractants. I have even tried sweet sugary baits... and while the attractants bring in an occasional yellow jacket at first, it seems the novelty of the bait soon wears off and then there are no more takers. And, here in NW Montana these hornets are epidemic in the summer, and I have literally thousands of these damned things nesting around my house. Well, sorry Onslaught you only get one star from me, because after using the insecticide for over two weeks with several traps set out, and using a myriad of baits, I still have literally thousands of these hot-headed little bastards buzzing around and stinging me just for the hell of it! I'd ask for a refund, but likely wouldn't get one. So, there you have it... Dissatisfied in Montana
Expert response:
We are sorry to hear that the product did not work as expected. Do you know exactly what type of yellow jackets and hornets you are dealing with? Please let us know. We look forward to troubleshooting this issue with you!

Fighting for chiggers
By Anonymous on 08/27/2013
I received this product in good order. I am not sure if it is working or not. I verified it works to control chiggers. I believe I applied it correclty. But there is no way to really know if it worked. I am not sitting in the grass any more. I plan to apply another application in September. We are getting bit by chiggers less. So that's a good sign and hopefully caused by the use of Onslaught.

Onslaught insecticite
By Judy on 09/19/2016
To be honest i still am havin a lot of problems with roaches etc. we have had to have a professionals come in. A friend recommended your product. It may have solved her problem but not mine.
Expert response:
We apologize the product did not work up to your expectations! Getting rid of roaches involves more than just spraying an insecticide or putting down a bait or dust. Roaches get into everything, multiply rapidly, and can survive for several months without food and up to two weeks without water. These little pests definitely pose a challenge, but with the proper tools and roach killer products, you can win the battle over roaches by following this roach management program. The best way to get rid of roaches includes a complete roach treatment process with two basic steps: sanitation/preparation, and the actual product applications. Please take a moment to review our Roach Control Guide to learn what is required to eliminate roaches:
