Ortho Bug B Gon MAX Insect Killer For Lawns is specially developed for preventing and controlling more than 100 insects for up to three months. It uses Bifenthrin as its active ingredient, which effectively kills insect pests like ants, chinch bugs, crickets, and more. It guarantees to eliminate these bugs above and below the surface on lawns, home foundations, flower and vegetable gardens and ornamentals. This granular formulation will provide a perfect solution to the insect control problem outside your home. Product comes in 20 lb. bag and can treat up to 20,000 sq. ft.

On Lawns:
- Use a designated spreader for applying granular materials. Evenly apply 1 to 2 lbs. over 1,000 sq. ft.
- Apply 2 to 4 lbs. over 1,000 sq. ft. area for controlling mole cricket.
- For season long (3 month) control, apply 4 lbs. of product for every 1,000 sq. ft. Re-apply after 3 months if necessary.
On Ornamentals and Flowers:
- Apply 0.5 to 1 lb. uniformly over each 500 sq. ft. area. If there are signs of renewed insect activity, repeat application.
- You can be apply product before planting or after plants emerge.
Vegetable Gardens
- A single application may be applied just prior to planting or after plants emerge and worked into the top 4 to 6 inches of soil.
- Use 1.0 lb. of product for a 500 sq. ft. area.
Home Foundation:
- Uniformly apply a 2 foot wide band next to the home foundation.
- Use 0.5 to 1.0 lb. for each 500 sq. ft. (2 ft. x 250 ft.)
- For Season-Long (3 month) control, apply 4 lbs. of product for every 1,000 sq. ft.
- Re-apply after 3 months if necessary.
