Rake, harrow or otherwise work the Pennington Smart Seed Dense Shade Grass Seed Mix into the soil 1/8 inch deep after spreading to help prevent displacement. Any heavy rain that moves the soil can still cause the seed to move but it should be minimal if not too soon after seeding.
