We have been getting a lot of rain and are concerned about mold.

Rake, harrow or otherwise work the Pennington Smart Seed Dense Shade Grass Seed Mix into the soil 1/8 inch deep after spreading to help prevent displacement. Any heavy rain that moves the soil can still cause the seed to move but it should be minimal if not too soon after seeding.

How long after planting Pennington Smart Seed Dense Shade Grass Seed Mix F Label should I wait before applying a weed n feed product in Texas?
I live 50 miles North of Dallas Texas. I planted the seed six weeks ago. About 50% of the area has new grass growth between 2 and 3 inches in length. Temps are now in the upper 90s. As the heat increased the amount of weeds, especially crab grass has increased substantially. I want to fight the growth of the weeds which I believes is interfering with the growth of the grass.
