ProBait Ant Bait is a potent solution formulated to rid you of your tough ant infestation problems. This insecticide is highly effective against native and imported fire ants, not to mention other tough ant species such as Argentine ants, bigheaded ants, and harvester ants. This bait emulates the same characteristics as usual ant food which is why worker ants mistake it for food and carry it back to the mound where it will serve as part of the stock of food and later on be fed to the queen. It will start working immediately, killing the queen within 7 days. The colony will cease to exist once the queen is dead.

Bought this product to solve a serious harvester ant problem, but all the ants did was remove the bait from the mound. Never solved my problem. Pretty expensive bait for it not to have worked. Great company, but don't waste your money on this.

ProBait Ant Bait is a very effective product used to control fire, argentine and several other species of ants. However it is primarily a protein bait so if the ants are not going to it you may need to incorporate using a sugar based bait with it to see if this is the nutrional base they are looking for. Also, ants do not always forage for food just like we do not always eat. If they are hungry or needing food for the colony they will search for it and pick it up to take back; if they are not hungry or don't currently need food, they will walk right past it. We would suggest making sure fresh bait is always out and test to see if they are actively looking for food before placing the bait around the home by putting out a dap of peanut butter and a dab of honey in lids of bottles or on tin foil, or try tossing a potato chip in the area of the ants outdoors.

The amount of ProBait Ant Bait will depend on the treatment for mound applications and broadcast. You should not exceed more than 2lbs per acre. You will apply 2-5 level TBSP per mound application and 2-4 oz per 5,000 of broadcast treatment.
