Ortho Fire Ant Killer Mound Bait is the ideal solution to fire ant problems. It is a highly effective bait that is specifically formulated to attract fire ants with its deep-reaching formula. Contains Indoxacarb as its active ingredient which is inviting for insect pests. It is proven to destroy the mound and it powerfully kills the queen. Fire ants are attracted by the bait and carry it into the mound, feeding and killing the queen. It is fast-acting because fire ants pick up the bait in minutes, immediately destroying their mound. Easy and convenient to use by simply sprinkling the product around the mound and leaving it for a few minutes without the need for watering. HOW TO USE:

Sprinkle the bait in a 4-foot perimeter around the mound for 5-7 seconds (4 tbsp.), while taking care not to disturb the mound or apply the product directly to the mound.

WHEN TO APPLY:

Apply when fire ants are active (usually when temperatures are greater than 70 degrees F). The best times to apply are in the cooler morning and late evening, when fire ant foraging is at its peak.
