I purchased this product to use on pumpkins against squash bugs because I hadn't found anything to kill them. I sprayed this stuff and within 10 minutes I saw squash bugs on their backs and kickin the sky. I've since used this product twice and haven't found another squash bug yet. Its incredible stuff. The low dose per gallon of water is great too. The quart I bought should last a long time. I'll definitely be purchasing more of this.

Using this to kill fire ants in a pasture.
By Patricia on 02/23/2015
We have a fire ant problem scattered over 10 acres but the colonies are not close enough to require field spraying. We mix this in old gallon milk jugs and pour it onto the mounds making sure to soak the center where the queen lives. Recheck of the mounds either finds them completely uninhabited or with a greatly reduced population. Avoid the temptation to make your solution go further by minimizing the amount applied. It will take a gallon to eradicate the mound.

It works well.
By David on 08/02/2017
This took care of the squash bugs on my zucchini and the aphids that kept eating my okra. It took 2 applications in 2 weeks to totally eliminate the squash bugs but I'm satisfied with the results. Now if I could just get more rain I'd be set!

Hi-Yield
By Mary on 06/13/2017
Hi-Yield Pet and Livestock always works good for us. It doesn't take all the insects away but it does control up to 95% of them. Great product. DoMyOwn is an amazing company. They always get the products to us in a minimal amount of time so we can get our pest under control. Thank you.

The bottle we purchased has no mixing instructions.
Please find the product label with full instructions on application of the Hi-Yield Lawn, Garden, Pet and Livestock Insect Control. Per the instructions, you will mix 6.7 oz per gallon of water for treating animal quarters for flies. We would not recommend using Permethrin insecticides in areas frequented by cats, however, this product is safe for use around dogs if you are following the product label.

Application rate on your website is per gallon. 2-4 tbs per gallon. But the label says 3 tbs per 4 gallons. Which is correct?
Hi-Yield Lawn, Garden, Pet and Livestock Insect Control is labeled to be used at a rate of 1 1/2 fl oz (3 Tbs) per 4 gallons of water.

I'm planning on spraying my dog. He's pretty large. I'm wondering when I spray him, do I wash it off afterwards? If so, how long do I leave it on? If not, could it be left on? Will it stain fabrics? Could it be harmful for the dog to be indoors?
You do not need to wash off Hi-Yield Lawn, Garden, Pet and Livestock Insect Control after it has been applied. Your dog may be indoors if you would like after the application has been made. This product has not been tested on furniture, so we recommend that you keep your dog off of furniture items and fabrics until he or she is completely dry to ensure that none of your items get damaged.

While spraying, fluff the hair so that the spray will penetrate to the skin. Make sure spray wets thoroughly. Reapply every 35 days only as needed to control pests. Do not spray into eyes or face. Avoid contact with genitalia. Do not treat puppies less than twelve weeks old. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals, or animals on medication.”
