Using the Trapper T-Rex inside the Protecta EVO Ambush Bait Station can help prevent non target animals from being harmed. If a small bird were to go into the station and somehow set the trap off it could harm them but this does not commonly happen.
A Trapper T-Rex Rat Traps or Mini T-Rex Mouse Traps can be placed in the Protecta EVO Ambush Bait Station to trap and kill rodents inside the station. You would just have to check frequently and remove any bodies that are caught. A bait station on its own is not designed to catch rodents; it is designed to house and protect a bait so that the target rodents can enter and exit freely while restricting access to non-target animals and children.
The weight of a case of Protecta EVO Ambush Bait Stations is 9.00 lbs and the measurements of the case is 17" x 10.25" x 12".
A Trapper T-Rex Trap can be placed inside or bait in the Protecta EVO Ambush Bait Station (not that the same time). We suggest using Provoke Rat Attractant with the Trapper T-Rex Trap.
Protecta EVO Ambush Bait Station are not pre-baited stations (bait is sold separately). The opening to the station is large enough for rats, mice, chipmunks, and some squirrels. Although the bait is labeled only for rats and mice, it could harm the others in the rodent family including squirrels if they consumed a lethal dose.
You can use the Protecta Load-N-Lock System bases for the Protecta EVO Ambush Bait Station.
