It is recommended not to mow within 2 days before or 2 days after applying Quinclorac 75 DF.
Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide is not labeled for use on ornamentals therefore would not be recommended for this use as injury can occur.
It is recommended to carefully spot treat the torpedograss with a non-selective herbicide such as Round Up Quick Pro around desirable ornamentals.
Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide needs to be applied when temperatures are between 55 and 90 degrees. It will not work in lower temperatures.
As long as you keep pets/children out of the area while you treat and until the Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide application has had time to completely dry it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity. Typically after 4-6 hours.
You could technically mix Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide with another herbicide such as EndRun. However, keep in mind that Quinclorac works best with a methylated seed oil (MSO) surfactant, such as Prime Source Duo Stick. If you are adding this kind of surfactant with a broadleaf herbicide such as the EndRun, then you may see increased sensitivity on your desirable turfgrass and it does not require one. So we would recommend a small jar test first for compatability as well as to check the turf for tolerance before spraying the entire lawn with this mixture. Or apply in separate applications to avoid possible injury.
It is very possible that it will injure and/or kill your desirable turfgrass. We would suggest reaching out to the manufacturer (Quali-Pro) of the Quinclorac 75 DF directly at 800-242-5562 for more information.
It is recommended refrain from mowing 2 days before or 2 days after an application of Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide.and grass clippings should be left on the treated area.
Per the product label under Restrictions and Limitations, this product should not be applied to turfgrass under stress from drought. Best results are obtained if weeds are not under stess from lack of water, excessive water, low fertility, mowing shock, excessive hot or cold temps or injury from other herbicide applicaitons.

No, Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide should not be applied to Bahiagrass,Carpetgrass, St. Augustine, Centipedegrass, dichondra or lawns or turf where desirable clovers are present.
Blindside WDG Herbicide is labeled for crabgrass and safe to use in St. Augustine turf. Please view the full product label for application rates and instructions.
We also have our St. Augustine Lawn Care Guide for more information.
No, Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide is not labeled for grassburs, lawn burweed or sandbur.
There are many pre-emergents for this weed but unfortunately not many post-emergents. Image Kills Nutsedge or Celsius WG are post emergents labeled for sandbur in warm season turfgrass. This is not labeled for cool season turfgrass.
We recommend using a pre-emergent for field sandbur, such as Pendulum 2G or Dimension 2EW in early spring and late fall.
Quinclorac 75 DF lists on the product label that centipede grass is susceptible to damage/injury therefore discoloration, yellowing or possible completely killing the centipede is possible.
Injured or disocoloration of desired turfgrass should recover with time and after a few mowings.
Yes, since Bifen IT is an insecticide and Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide is a herbicide, there are no issues with applying these at the same time or immediately after each other.

Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide would not be safe to use in brassica fields, both because it would harm the plants as well as not being labeled for use in areas with edible vegetation. Grass Out Max and a Non Ionic Surfactant can be used over the top of brassicas and many other edibles to control grassy weeds growing within them, but we cannot say what the safety to Switchgrass would be. Its not labeled to target it, but it's also not labeled as safe or tolerant to the product, so you would need to test a small area for tolerance before making broader applications. We do not carry any herbicides for broadleaf weeds in those settings, you may need to reach out to your states Department of Agriculture for farming recommendations.
Quinclorac 75 DF does target foxtail, but does not include switchgrass on the label as tolerant. We advise spot testing, and using extreme caution before applying this product to switchgrass, as it could cause damage to desirable vegetation.
Quinclorac 75 DF is not labeled to control Johnsongrass. Pastora is an option if it's a bermudagrass pasture. If it is not bermuda we would recommend contacting your local agricultural department for a recommendation.
Yes, you can add a colorant dye to Quinclorac 75 DF to help see where you have sprayed.
We would nto recommend tank mixing Quinclorac 75 DF Herbicide with EndRun. Quinclorac requires the use of a surfactant tobe effective while EndRun does not
Quinclorac 75 DF is not labeled to control oxalis. We would need to know the type of turfgrass(warm/cool season) your lawn is in order to make a selective herbicide recommendation.
Monterey Spurge Power list oxalis as one of the weeds it will control in warm and cool season lawns. Please refer to the product label for more information.
According to the product label, mix 1.0 to 1.25 fl. oz. in 2 gallons to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft for Bluegrass, Fescue, Rye, Bent (excluding golf greens and tees), Bahia, Bermuda, and Zoysia.
Quinclorac 75 DF should be applied at the rate of 0.245 oz. per 1000 sq. ft. - per application - as 3 sequential applications at 14-21 day intervals for torpedograss control. This would give a total of 0.735 oz. of product per 1000 sq. ft. after the 3 applications.
