    How do I kill crabgrass in Bermuda grass?
    I used a pre emergent but have tons of crabgrass in my lawn. Should I use a post emergent to kill them? If so,which brand do you recommend that will not kill my bermuda?
    A

    You could use a post-emergent to control it or you could even use a pre-emergent product called Dimension which also has very early post emergent crabgrass control.  For post emergent, QuinKill Max would be a good choice to use.

    How soon can I apply a second dose of QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer to the crabgrass that appears to not be affected by the first dose?
    I applied QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer along with Speedzone and a sticky agent. Most weeds are dead or dying, but some didn't seem to be affected. It was morning with dew on the grass, so I feel I need to reapply in the evening. How soon can I do that? Is spot treatment OK in that case? Having lawn plugged and seeded in a couple of weeks, so am in a hurry.

    QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer can be reapplied 2-3 weeks after first treatment. It is normal not to see a burn down just yet. This can tak at least 2 weeks to occur.

    How soon can pets be let on lawn after treating with QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer?

    You would want to keep pets out of the area while treating. Once QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer has completetly dried, it is safe for them to return.

    QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer cannot be used on St Augustine grass, Bahiagrass, carpetgrass or dichondra.     Which product is better, QuinKill or the Bayer Advance All In One?
    QuinKill and Bayer both have the same active ingredient (Quinclorac) but at different concentrations. When both products are properly diluted, is the amount of quinclorac applied actually the same? I want to use something as effective as QuinKill for my crabgrass, but I don't need a lot, which is why I am considering the Bayer RTU product.

    If you do not need a lot of product then we would definately recommend the Bayer Advanced All-In-One Lawn Weed and Crabgrass Killer’s RTU as it is less expensive, no mixing required, and works just as well as QuinKill Max.

    What else do I need for crabgrass control?
    I've been trying to battle crabgrass forever. I've made three applications of the Hi-Yield crabgrass weed control since March 1st..and as well over-sprayed with the 2EW product. .25 oz. to 1 gallon. So far, I'm seeing little results and the crabgrass is thriving. What do I do? The temps are in the 80's now. Is there any hope at this point?

    What should I use on Cody buffalo grass to kill crabgrass?

    QuinKill Max could be used on buffalograss for crabgrass control.   For best results combine with an adjuvant such as DyneAmic which helps the product penetrate the waxy coating of leaves.

    Can QuinKill be applied effectively in the fall?
    A

    Applying Quinkill later in the season will not be very effective in killing crabgrass as it is better controlled when still young and not large.  We have a great article here that can advise on the best time and treatments for elimination.

    How many ounces do I use per gallon to spot treat my crab grass with QuinKill?
    I don't want to know how much per 1000 square feet. I want to know for spot treating purposes. I've been using 1.5 oz per gallon, results non existent. Should this product kill dandelions?

    As with most herbicides like QuinKill Max the exact volume of water is not very important, you just need to be sure you are getting the correct amount of product on a specific area.  Generally speaking 1 gallon covers 1000 sqft, so you can apply 1.45 fluid ounces in 1 gallon for spot treating.     How effective is QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer on Torpedo grass and how often can I apply? Does heat and humidity affect the result?
    Do I mix 1 1/2 TBS per gallon of water?

    QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer  is very effective on Torpedograss. You would mix 1.5 oz ( 2 1/2 TBS) per gallon water. Be sure to make the application when temps are above 65 degrees and below 85 degress.
