Echelon 4SC Herbicide works on both pre-emergent and post-emergent weeds controlling crabgrass, sedges, broadleaf weeds, goosegrass, Poa annua, and annual grasses in commercial, institutional, industrial, and resdiential areas. With a dual mode of action (working through the root and the shoot) Echelon 4SC Herbicide is unique in its class making it more economical through fewer applications and longer residual. Golf course superintendents would be interested to know that Echelon 4SC Herbicide goes beyond just pre-emergent control of Poa annua to help control troublesome weeds later in the season and could possibly be the last herbicide needed in the season.

Poa Annua has over taken my lawn & nobody around here can do anything to get rid of it. PLEASE help!!! I planted 200lbs of grass & it just choked the grass out. It gets worse year after year.
Echelon 4SC labeled for pre-emergent control of poa annua only. According to the product label Poa annua is a winter annual. Applications of Echelon 4SC Herbicide should be made in
August or September to established, non overseeded turf before Poa Annua germinates.
Consult local Cooperative Extension Service for more specific applications timings for your
local area since August and September are approximate timings.

Echelon 4SC is not specifically labeled for sandburs. We recommend Image 70 DG to treat sandbur. Also, to prevent them for next year, you should apply Barricade or Surflan AS as a pre-emergent. It will control sandburs in your yard, as well as a multitude of other broadleaf weeds. It is highly recommended that you refer to the product labels prior to purchase to make sure your lawn type is listed under grass species that are tolerant to the product.

Echelon 4SC Herbicide could potentially stain a sprayer especially if it is a plastic/poly tank. We do offer spray tank cleaners also.
