    Mice X

    By Dale on 11/05/2016

We live in a new home development and we're gone for two weeks and the mice took over. We put out RatX and they ate it like crazy. We been using it for a week and they are still eating it inside and out. Will see if it gets them or not in the next few days and will leave some out!

    Getting Results

    By Karen on 03/14/2017

I am on my second bag, Week 3. I have made my little packages and rolled them into the rat holes, pushing them in with a stick, in my backyard day after day. Each day the bags would be gone. The dog found one or dug it up- and she is fine - she wants to dig up the rats now too! I was going to give up when the last few days we have been seeing rats walking around during the day on our patio. Rats do not do this. Today we captured 5 rats. I will continue to do this until I feel they are gone. Thank you Rat x

    Rat X works

    By Brenda on 01/13/2017

I put the Rat X in active areas, the mice loved it. I refilled small trays for two days. By day three the mice were gone. I have dogs, the relief they were safe was worth the try with a safe for animal product. I have been fighting my mouse problem for a year with other products with NO success. I put all dog food in a plastic container. I had all my accessable foods in plastic containers, bread, packets of seasoning, chips, ECT. I love this product, it will be behind my stove and refrigerator for preventing another infestation. I highly recommend Rat X.

    Do not buy

    By Hanna on 12/31/2016

This would be a zero star review and if I had the option, I'd put it into negative stars. We eliminated food competition, gave this product a good solid month to work. However since these are basically salt pellets and not actual poison, it only FED the problem! DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF!

    Kills Rats

    By Aaf on 07/28/2017

This so far has been the only consistent bait that has worked well. I have tried traps, bait boxes, sulfur bombs, peppermint, etc and RAT X works the best hands down.

Kills my few rats each season

    By James on 03/29/2017

I have a storage house that where i keep tools, extra items from the house and my pool pump. Each year I get a medium to large rat to move in. From what I can tell I only have one or a few at a time. If I place it in the right location (near their droppings) in a little cut plastic water bottle they eat the bait after a few days. It takes a few more days to weeks but no more rat. Next I'll have to keep the cups filled even though the rats are gone to kill the ones that come once vacated

    Alternative food source

    By Kevin on 02/16/2017

I think Rat X may be the alternative food source. Have been refilling feed stations for over a month. They keep eating it but no dead rats, just more droppings. Not sure I want to invest in another bag of this.

    Expert Response  Expert response:
Thank you for your feedback! It does take a lot of bait for Rat X to kill an individual rodent. We do recommend using traps indoors so that you can locate and remove dead rodents. You should also be sure to inspect the area for ways the rats are entering the structure so that you can exclude them. Patience is the key

    By Karen on 03/27/2017

I was about to call the exterminator when we had small rats walking around during the day! I kept making the bait balls out of plastic wrap and rolled them into the holes in my garden. My dogs were digging holes to find the rats and I could not risk them getting poisoned. RatX did work finally! 2 bags and 3 to 4 weeks of putting bait in the holes. Then one day all the bait was still visible in the holes- untouched!! Still keeping an eye out and checking- but even the dogs are not interested or sniffing around for them!

2 bags and a month later and more rats.

    By Mlaiuppa on 05/31/2017

Six weeks and two bags later they're using it as their food source. They love the stuff. They're multiplying. This is useless. At $20 a bag you can't buy enough for them to eat to die. To breed, yes. But this does not work as advertised. It's more like feeding a growing pet colony of wild rats. I've had much more success with glue traps. Inhumane? Maybe. But at least they die and I know it. I'm looking into anticoagulants now. This natural organic stuff is a waste of time and money.

    It's working for me

    By Wade on 06/26/2017

So far, so good. About 7 days after using a small bag's worth of Rat X around my chicken coop, I've started finding dead rats in the same area. I just bought another bag to pour into their holes and in their traffic areas. I haven't seen any more of them running out of the coop like I was before. I'm going to keep buying it unless and until it stops working.

I was at my wits end!!!

    By B. on 11/21/2017

I bought every trap on the market trying to get rid of the mice infestation in my house. They even started to walk right up to me with no fear at all! I put out Rat X in some coffee filters at 4 different locations in my house. Two were untouched, but two were eaten up overnight, so I refilled those. I also took pictures of the bait I put out because I wanted to see how much they were taking. I'm now on day 3 and have seen no activity, haven't heard them scampering or squeaking, and the best part is that my house doesn't have that nasty, musty mouse smell. I was worried about using regular poison because I have small dogs, so this was a perfect alternative. I couldn't be happier! Thanks, Rat X!!!

    This poison really works!!!!!

    By Gio on 02/08/2018

We did not know that the rodents were in our home. This whole matter blindsided us to say the least. Rat-X allowed us to fight the rodents head on. Although it was the most expensive at Home Depot, it is the most effective. The only problem we had was that they died under the floor board. BUT! They died! This stiff really works and I recommend it to anyone going thru rat invasions. Please use it correctly, we did not have small children. With proper use you cannot go wrong.

    Forget about rat-x

    By Ken on 11/30/2017

Forget about buying rat-x. Used to use the little d-con boxes and they were great. Tried rat-x and zero results! Followed all instructions and the mice are still around. Save your money!

    Expert Response  Expert response:
Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry that you did not see the expected results using Rat X. One difference with this bait is that it does require rodents to feed on the bait longer and to consume more than some other more traditional baits, so if this is not ideal and you do not have concerns about pets or other non-target animals getting into the bait, then more traditional anti-coagulant or neurotoxin baits may be a better fit for you. Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance selecting products anytime.

    Rats in attic

    By Brent on 12/04/2017

I have been putting out mounds of RatX in my attic (3 separate piles,15 pellets in each pile) for 10 days and they are still eating it......after 10 days!!! What's going on ??? Please help. Thanks

    Expert Response  Expert response:
Thank you for your review. We apologize you have not received the expected results. However, due to RatX causing dehydration, it could take some time to kill. Mice and rats have stomach sensors that tells them when they are thirsty. When they eat this bait, it turns off their stomach sensors and it can no longer tell their brain to drink water. The rate at which this starts to work is 1 1/2 to 2 ounces of RatX per rat and 10-15 grams or 1/3 or 1/2 ounce per mouse so adding more piles and pellets would help. If you have any further questions please give us a call at 866-581-7378.

    Worked for me

    By Greg on 11/04/2017

I had mice in the garage and put out a few grams each night for about 4 days. Nothing is eating the bait now, and no more mouse poop! I suppose this would not work in an old barn or somewhere that could not be effectively enclosed. Also, if you have a big infestation - as often occurs in attics - you may need to keep feeding them for some time.

    RatX

    By Michael on 12/18/2017

Expensive stuff for its ingredients. And rats do eat it. Like they eat wood, cement, and wiring. And if those sound worse than the ingredients of RatX, it's because they are! RatX does nothing to rats. Rats are bigger, smarter, stronger, and more resilient than mice. They can get out of any glue trap, and avoid snap traps. RatX may work on mice, but not on adult rats. Let's call it ScamX. You're the sucker.

RatX not work well if spilled animal feed is in environment

    By Bonnie on 03/26/2017

I suspect this works well when you really can get rid of all competing food sources. However in a kennel situation there is the problem of spilled kibble when dogs are messy eaters and kibble staying in bowels for the dogs that are slow eating "snackers" so it is almost impossible to clear the environment of competing food sources. I was very hopeful because of its advertised "non-toxic to dogs, cats and children" properties. I have placed the RatX in places near the dogs but in spaces unavailable for dog access where I saw mouse activity. My MouseCubes are still catching apparently healthy mice and the RatX appears untouched.

    Just bought this product

    By Bill on 08/14/2017

I just bought this yesterday. I put out 3 packets in plastic wrap. 1, I stuffed into the rat hole. In a matter of hours, the plastic was pulled out of the hole next to it. I tossed another packet into a nearby area where I know the hide. It was gone in a matter of hours. No sign of the plastic wrap. So, I tossed another packet into the same area. It was still there early in the morning, but now 1130am, I just checked and it's gone too. I'll keep making packets and putting them into the same area until they are no longer disappearing. Can't give 5 stars until I'm confident it worked.

    Just Started

    By Christine on 11/13/2017

I live in an apartment and the maintenance man dropped off this bag and he told me that he heard this stuff is great and it will get him. We have one pretty big mouse/rat (i think Norway House Rat) and at 1st the Maint. Man gave us small snap traps and he would take the bait and never get caught and only 1 time he set trap off. so now i have these pellets in a small plastic dish for him to get and so far nothing. I think i heard him in it last night at one point but does not look like its going down. I NEED to get rid of this thing! Ive read other peoples stories here and i too think i am just feeding him! Ugghhhh SO FRUSTRATED! Time for some real Big Snap Traps from T Rex!

    Good product, over priced

    By Sa on 07/19/2017

The product arrived quickly and in good shape. After opening the package I realized that the product was extremely pricey for what it is. Probably should have gotten twice as much product for the price. That said, I have not yet used it, hopefully it will do what it claims in the write up.

    14" Rat DOA

    By Dano on 09/06/2018

Neighbor has 4 year old wood pile. I noticed a small hole under cedar fence. Next day, I saw it. 14" Rat head to tail. I had Rat X on hand. Opened bag, spreaded half the bag bout 6 feet long even some at It's entrance. The next day, every single pellet was gone, maybe a baby handful left. No more alive nasty 14" rat. DOA. Baby handful still there.

    So far so good....then

    By Na on 12/17/2017

I have been up night after night hearing mice in my house. I have tried every trap and bait possible. The mice in my house would eat the bait and dodge the traps even. I finally found this product. I put it in three different locations in my house. The first couple of nights I did not hear a sound. I saw a mouse today that was just looking at me and dragging off fresh dinner that I had just prepared for me and my son. How much more do I need to put out?

    Expert Response  Expert response:
Thank you for your review. We apologize you have not received the expected results. Rat X can be a little tricky to use and kill the infestation. Depending on the infestation you may need to put out more piles. The recommended rate for mice is 10-15 grams or 1/3 or 1/2 ounce per mouse into small bowls or feeding trays approximately 6 feet apart throughout the infested area. This type of bait causes dehydration so it could take a little while before you start seeing any reduction. Also if you have any competing food sources they could be eating those instead of the bait so be sure to put away anything and everything. If you have any further questions or comments please give us a call at 866-581-7378.
