Rat X is a non-toxic rodent bait that kills rodents without harming any other species. Rat X is made from 100% natural ingredients - it can even be used inside food handling facilities. The mice and rats will eat the bait like a food source and Rat X will cause dehydration. Mice and rats have stomach sensors that tells them when they are thirsty. When they eat this bait, it turns off their stomach sensors and it can no longer tell their brain to drink water. They have no desire for drinking water so they will just go back to their burrow, and begin the cycle - dehydration, failing kidneys, coma and then death. Great product to use around animals and children because it is safe and non toxic.
Indoor and Outdoor Use - Holes under a patio, around ponds and water, under garden features, access points to buildings or under a greenhouse, holes in lawns, around houses, near livestock/poultry housing and more
INDOOR USE: Prior to treatment, all likely food sources must be removed or made unavailable to rodents. Place bait trays at bait points where there are signed of rodent activity, like fresh droppings, inside or near rat runs and feeding areas. Place 40-60 grams or 1 1/2 to 2 ounces of RatX per rat and 10-15 grams or 1/3 or 1/2 ounce per mouse into small bowls or feeding trays approximately 6 feet apart throughout the infested area. Protect bait points from non-target animals and from water. Inspect bait points frequently and replace any eaten bait. Replace any baits which become wet and re-site in a dry locations. Keep topping up bait points until there are no more takes for 48 hours.
OUTDOOR USE: Place bait points where there are signs of rodent activity, like fresh droppings or near burrows, runways, feeding places and at points of entry around the perimeter of buildings. Place 40-60 grams or 1 1/2 to 2 ounces of RatX per rat and 10-15 grams or 1/3 or 1/2 ounce per mouse into bait stations or wrap in clinging food packaging film and place in drainpipes, open ended boxes or under sheets of metal/wood secured at an angle against a wall (to keep the bait point dry) at intervals of approximately 6 feet , reducing to approximately 4 feet in areas of high infestation. Protect bait points from non-target animals and (as the baits must be kept dry) from water. Inspect bait points frequently and replace any eaten bait. Replace any baits which become wet and re-site in a dry location. If you require more bait trays within the activity area, we suggest you use flowerpot saucers or something similar.
RatX can also be placed directly into rat holes, nesting or feeding areas. Wrap 40-60 grams or 1 1/2 to 2 ounces of RatX per rat and 10-15 grams or 1/3 or 1/2 ounce per mouse in clinging food packaging film and push down the burrow. Rats carry disease so never use unprotected hands. Push product into burrows with a long stick or similar. Replenish packets daily until there are either no more takes, or no rat activity, for 48 hours.
Non toxic bait and is 100% naturally derived product
Rats carry disease. Therefore, remove all remains of bait and bait containers after treatment and dispose of safely. Search for rodent bodies and dispose of safely (e.g.burn or bury). Do not dispose of in refuse sacks or open rubbish tips. When handling, use precautions to avoid the possibility of disease transmission. Use disposable rubber gloves. Apply household disinfectants at recommended concentrations to rodent droppings, nest and surrounding area, and allow for at least 15 minutes contact time before removal. Clean the area with paper towels or a mop. Thoroughly wash hands with soap and water and dispose of gloves.

I thought, no way will this work...I put some in a sandwich bag and put it on the garage wall. I noticed it was chewed open and less bait each day... day 3 nothing, no smells, no dead rats that I can find? Now 2 weeks, can't believe it?!? All clear! The best part, I did not have to worry about my 2 get into everything dogs!! Awesome!
I am so impressed!!! I bought this at the recommendation of a friend and set up baggies around the yard, MY DOG FOUND THEM AND ATE THEM!!!! (He eats everything as his name is "Chomper"). I was so scared as he took down at least 3oz of the stuff. The Amazing part was NOTHING was wrong with Chomper at all. Not that day or even a few days later!!! No Vet bills, no Rats and it was inexpensive. This product is Amazing!!!!

Rat X is a multi-feed bait, so rodents do have to consume quite a bit over time to get a lethal dose. You also want to be sure the eliminate any competing food sources when using Rat X. This bait is excellent when there is concern about non-target animals coming into contact with the bait, however, since it is not toxic to pets or people.
I have young kids and puppies so treating for pests has always been a problem or a fear but knowing RatX is safe put my mind at ease. It was so easy and I didn't need help either. The rats went right for the wrapped up pellets within a day the small ones were dead and a couple later the larger ones. Woohoo!! No more rats or noise at night in my attic or garage! Thanks RatX!
Great product it didn't take 4-5 days to work it took only 2 days for my problem. I placed it in plastic bags in the activity areas on Sunday nite by Tuesday I noticed my 2nd placement hadn't been touched by Friday still 2nd feeding was still there. Unfortunately they didn't come out to go into their coma now I'm dealing with the horrible smell of dead rodents in my walls! :'( If there's a way around dealing with the death smell it would be great....But overall I'm impressed! !
How long before you will star seeing results with Rat X?
The kill time for Rat X can take anywhere between 5-7 days.
Will Rat X kill other rodents (non target species) such as squirrels, prairie dogs, ground squirrels, beavers, etc?
I am not finding any clear answers whether this product will kill rodents other than rats and mice. For example, some squirrels are protected where I live, and I don't want to inadvertently kill them. As far as I know, all rodents share the same digestive system, not exclusive to rats and mice.
Rat X is only labeled to eradicate mice and rats. However, it is possible that the product will harm those that are also in the rodent family such as chipmunks, squirrels, etc.
After a mouse eats Rat-X, but before it dies, will the mouse leave greenish blue droppings?
I put some out to get rid of a small mouse problem in my house and noticed some black droppings a few days later. But there were also a few really bright blue or green droppings as well. I know other poisons can cause green droppings, but those poisons are also green, which makes sense. But since Rat-X is brown, I am confused. Help! I'm confused and a little worried, but still hopeful! Thanks!
Yes, the droppings of the mice and/or rats will become bleached in color and larger in size after consuming Rat X. This is an indicator of the product acceptance and consumption and can be up to three times larger than pellets from non-treated rodents.
Can Rat X kill a mouse and dry it up so it doesn't smell?
I used the pellets, and the mice ate them, but didn't die. I heard there are products that kill mice and they dry up and don't smell. I have an extreme mouse phobia and I can't set traps, but the cold weather has caused the problem. There is nothing they can eat in my house. So I think they would definitely eat poison. I have bought the pellet packs from you previously.
Unfortunately, that is a myth. There is no product that will dry up a mouse and not make the mouse smell after it's dead. Rat X is the safest product available for indoor use to bait for mice and rats. I do recommend reading over our article on "How to Get Rid of Mice" for further understanding on how to bait and exclude mice from your home.
