Right now I can only give 2 stars. I sprayed my yard (Rock Landscaping) in Arizona first with off the shelf (Box Store) roundup concentrate, then again with this. The areas I sprayed with this are very slow over 10 days to die. Some of it has been sprayed twice and still isn't dying. There are several options for mixing and I used the second most concentrated option. I am still waiting.

Great value

This is the same brand name stuff you buy retail at Lowe's or Home Depot for several times the cost! The 2.5 gallon jug is a little unwieldy, but I just pour it out into a quart bottle and use it from there. Lasts for a long time!

Good stuff
By Robert on 08/05/2015
Great product. In my case it took about 10-14 days to completely burn down the weeds but I also had weeds in excess of 6 feet tall with very large stems so in that case it worked very good. If faster control is needed then I will try the other roundup that burns down faster.

Roundup Pro Concentrate can be applied as a spot treatment to lawns for weeds. It will pretty much kill what it touches, so you should avoid contact with desirable plants. What is the ratio of water to concentrate?
How many finished gallons you get from the Roundup Pro Concentrate 2.5 gallon jug depends on the dilution rate used. Per the product label you can use 0.5 fl to 10.5 fl oz per gallon of water depending on the weeds you need to treat. So at the lowest it can make 640 gallons or at the highest rate, approximately 30 gallons.

Unfortunately, Bermuda grass is so closely related to St. Augustine grass that there is really nothing that will remove Bermuda from St. Augustine and not hurt the St. Augustine as well. In your situation it is recommended to spot treat the Bermuda with a Roundup-type product to kill it directly, and then replant St. Augustine in those areas. We do have some professional Roundup products available on our website here.

You can use RoundUp Pro Concentrate at the highest listed usage rate to help eliminate bamboo. You will be required to cut the bamboo down to a short stump and then apply the RoundUp Pro. It can take several applications to achieve the desired results. You should contact your local cooperative extension office and speak to the master gardener on staff to see if you will be required to till your yard or if you can seed and fertilize only.

The active ingredient in Roundup is Glyphosate and there are different strengths and uses for both Commerical and Residential use. I have a large vinca minor area with broadleaf weeds. What can I use to kill the weeds without harming vinca minor?
Your best option is handpulling or very carefully spot treating with a glyphosate based product like Roundup Pro Concentrate. We apologize but there is not a selective herbicide for broadleaf weeds in vinca minor.
