a pre-emergent can be applied with Roundup Pro Max. You just need to ensure that it is not too warm for a pre-emergent as they should not be applied when soil temperatures are above 55 degrees. You may also consider Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide which is both a post & pre-emergent non-selective

Roundup Pro Max can be used to kill sissoo tree roots. It is recommended to drill a series of 6-inch-deep holes around the edge of the stump using a 1-inch spade bit extension. Apply with a small paint brush. The roots will die out, killing the stump in the process.
Unfortunately, there are not a lot of products on the market labeled for creeping myrtle (also known as vinca minor and periwinkle flowers) as they are typically considered a desirable plant species. Manual removal methods and herbicide applications with Glyphosate or Triclopyr are effective in eradicating vinca minor/creeping myrtle/periwinkle however it generally takes several seasons to matter which method is used due to the hardiness and roots that extend several feet. For best results, cut stems 1 to 2 inches from the ground and applied when temperatures are between 60 to 85 degrees.
Roundup Pro Max is a non selective herbicide that contains a surfactant for faster burndown and better adhesion to the waxy cuticle on the leaf surfaces. Use precautions if spraying in turfgrass areas or around desirable plants, shrubs, flowers, etc as this will generally kill whatever applied to. Any areas can be reseeded or planted in after 2 weeks.
Triclpopyr Ester when mixed with a non ionic surfactant can be used to treat brush, vines, or woody weeds. DO not use a surfactant with Triclopyr Ester when treating cool season turfgrass.
Alligare Triclopyr 4 is recommended for non crop areas, ornamental turf, rangeland, grass pastures, etc. This is an oil based insecticide labeled for woody plants and perennial and annual broadleaf weeds.
We recommend contacting your Master Gardener Division with the County Extension Office for their recommendations on timing and successful tips they have found in your area.
Visible effects after applying Roundup Pro Max on most annual weeds occur within 1 day, and on most perennial weeds in 2 days. Extremely cool or cloudy weather following treatment may slow activity of this product and delay development of visual symptoms. Visible effects are a quick yellowing of the foliage which advances to complete browning of above-ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts.
You could use a glyphosate product such as RoundUp Pro Max for poa annua and other weeds in your Bermuda lawn, but only if the Bermuda grass is entirely dormant. If the grass has started greening at all, then you will need to use a selective herbicide instead. For smaller lawns, Image Kills Nutsedge is a good choice. For larger lawns, we recommend Negate 37WG or Certainty Herbicide.
There is not a recommended pre-emergent that should be used with Roundup Pro Max. However, a product like Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control may be a better option. This product provides both pre- and post-emergent control of weeds on areas such as sidewalks, fences, driveways, landscape areas, and walkways for 3-6 months when used according to label directions. It should NOT be applied to lawns. If you are targeting weeds in your lawn, please provide your desired turf species (include approx. size area of the lawn) and the targeted weeds for herbicide options that will not kill your turf.
You would want to wait 2 weeks before replanting after an application has been done with the RoundUp Pro Max.
Roundup Pro Max is labeled to suppress Canada Thistle. It may take a few applications to get complete control of it. We would recommend avoiding any contact with desirable trees to prevent injury.
Roundup Pro Max would not kill the tree just by applying to the leaves. It would be best to cut the palm down and apply to the stump via drilled holes if you do not want to remove it completely. Apply a 50- to 100-percent solution of this product to the freshly cut surface immediately after cutting
Roundup Pro Max rates vary depending on what you are treating for. You would use 0.5 oz up to 9 oz per gallon of water as directed on the product label. You can convert ounces to tablespoons using an online tool.
Roundup Pro Max is a non selective herbicide that can pretty much kill anything that is sprayed including nutsedge. Care should be taken to only spray the poa annua if you are treating in your lawn or around desirable plants/edibles.
You could just thoroughly spray the knotweed with Roundup Pro Max.
For most weeds, Roundup Pro Max is mixed at 2 oz. per gallon of water. Brush and vines require 5-9 oz. per gallon of water.
RoundUp Pro Max contains glyphosate, which is absorbed systemically into the treated plants only. It does not move through the soil to other plants, and it is not absorbed from the roots into neighboring plants. Since this product is not labeled expressly for us around edible plantings, it should be safe to plant vegetables/fruit after a year. You could also use Avenger Herbicide and replant as soon as 2 weeks after application. The delay is just to be sure the target plants have had time to be killed before you till any roots that may still be viable.
Roundup Pro Max comes in a 1.67 gallon jug.
Since Roundup Pro Max is a non selective herbicide that kills anything it is applied to, it would not be recommended to tank mix with fertilizers.
