Yes, Sahara DG Herbicide will kill nutsedge/nutgrass. It is a bareground product and will kill whatever it comes in contact with for at least a year. We would recommend being very careful with the product since it is a bareground product.

Sahara DG Herbicide can take a few weeks to kill sprayed weeds as it is not a fast acting herbicide. You can add a glyphosate based product based product like GlyPhosel Pro to the mix to get a faster burn.
Sahara DG Herbicide could be used and as long as you keep children out of the area while you treat and until the product has had time to completely dry it is safe for people to return and resume normal activity. Typically a few hours is enough time to allow the area to dry. That being said, this product can leach into surrounding areas so care should be taken to avoid applying in areas where runoff to desirable turf can occur.
