How much rainfall is required after applying Scotts STEP 1 Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food for best results?
I applied my step 1 and then we got over an inch of rain that same day. Following this, we then had a day rain- free but then the next day we also had substantial rain. Should I reapply and how long time, if any, do I need to wait?
According to the Step 1 Crabgrass Preventer plus Lawn Foodproduct label, for best results the lawn should receive 1/4 to 1/2 inch of water or rainfall within 2-3 days of the application. We would recommend reapplying Step 1 in 4 weeks when you are not expecting much if any rainfall to control the amount of water applied.
