Southern Ag Thiomyl Systemic Fungicide is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide that controls a variety of foliar, stem, and root diseases on a wide range of commercially important plants. It is most effective for the prevention and the control of diseases of Perennial and Annual Flowers, foliage plants, bedding plants, and ground covers with Deciduous and Evergreen Trees and Shrubs. It is also effective for use as a dip on cuttings and bulbs. This product comes in a 2-oz. bottle.

Anthracnose, Dollar Spot, Copper Spot, Large Brown Patch, and Red Thread: Apply 2 oz. when diseases first appear. Continue at 7 to 14-day intervals as needed.
Pink Snow Mold: Use 2 oz. on the first application middle-late November and continue at 10 to 14-day intervals throughout the season.
Summer Patch: Use 4 to 8 ozs. for prevention, apply 3 applications beginning early May 21 day intervals. Water Material into root zone after application. For suppression, apply two applications at 10-14 day intervals beginning when diseases first appear.
Fusarium Blight and Necrotic Ring Spot: Use 4 to 8 ozs. for two applications at 10 to 14-day interval beginning when diseases first appear.
Stripe Smut: Use 4 to 8 ozs. and make two applications at 7 to 14-day intervals when diseases first appear. Water material into root zone after application. For prevention, apply in spring and fall.
Leaf Spot: Use 4 to 8 ozs. on two applications at 7 to 14-day intervals when diseases first appear. Water material into root zone after application. May be used in combination with SA-50 Dithane M-45 at lower rates.
Ovulnia Blight of Azalea and Rhododendron: Use 1 2/3 tsp. Apply as flowers open. Repeat every 7 to10 days and as needed during disease period.
Powdery Mildew: Use 1 2/3 tsp. Apply midsummer or at first sign of disease. Anthracnose 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Apply as buds break. Repeat every 7 to 10 days as needed during disease period. Do not exceed four applications per season.
Ascochyta Leaf Blight: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Repeat every 7 to 10 days as needed during disease period.
Black Spot of Rose: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Apply midsummer or at first sign of disease.
Botrytis Flower Blight, Comyespora Leafspot, and Curvularia Leaf Blight: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Apply midsummer or at first sign of disease.
Rust of Crabapple: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Repeat every 10 to 14 days as needed during disease periods.
Leaf Scabs of Crabapple, Pyracantha, Hawthorn, Pear, and Mountain Ash: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Apply mid-spring or at first sign of disease.
Tip Blight of Pine: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Apply along with a compatible spreader/sticker at recommended rates to the entire tree. Thorough coverage is essential for optimal disease control. Begin application in spring when new growth starts. Make a second application just before needles emerge from the sheath and a third application 10 days later.
Twig Blights of Juniper (Phomopsis and Kabatina spp.): Use 5 tsp. For Phomopsis, apply in spring. For Kabatina, (Phomopsis and Kabatina spp.) apply late summer. Repeat every 7 to 10 days as needed during disease period.
Stem Rots, Crown Rots, Black Root Rot, and Cylindrocladium Rot: Use 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. Apply after transplanting to propagation bed, Root Rots container, or pot at a rate to thoroughly soak the growing media (usually 1 to 3 pints per square foot depending on the media type and depth). Repeat every 21 to 28 days to provide adequate crop protection.
Bulb, Corm, and Rhizome Rots: Use 2 1/2 - 3 tsp. Soak immediately after digging for 30 minutes in a warm dip (80 to 85 degrees F). Dry well before storing.
Note: Thiomyl does not control Pythium spp. or Phytophthora spp.
